“Expansive” is the word that describes Ala’s home, from the family room, dining room and kitchen, which are large enough to prepare a meal and entertain 20 people with ease. There are 2 master suites, the upper one with 2 balconies. It was a challenge to adequately enjoy the lower level attractions: pool table, gym, kitchen treats or tv lounge. Finally, we had breakfast on the side patio and evening cocktails on the front patio, both with views of the extensive grounds. The only downside, it was a struggle to leave the house for Boston sight-seeing and visiting with relatives. Sent from my iPhone

This house worked really well for our family. the rooms are well-proportioned, the beds were comfy and the house was clean. there were a few bakeries and eateries within walking distance and a star market a 7 min drive away. There's a public park with a runni g track 2 min walking distance away. Overall great house!

My husband and I visited for our honeymoon and we had such an amazing stay! Erin was so informative, responsive, and she went way above and beyond to make us feel special! The location was beautiful and it was just far enough outside the hustle and bustle of Salem to get away from the October crowd. Would absolutely recommend a stay here! 💕

This beautiful home is all you could ask for in a peaceful getaway. Every room was immaculate. Warm and inviting, it felt like home from the moment we walked in the door. Lauren's proactive communication put us at ease before we even arrived. Detailed entry instructions (with pictures!) made sure this was a stress-free process every step of the way. Every room was spotless and cozy. The pictures capture the rooms accurately, but they could d never show the hundreds of thoughtful touches that make this feel like home away from home. We loved the layout and only wish we had more time there. Whether watching a movie by the fireplace or eating dinner in the dinning room, this place was perfection. We spent a day in Concord and days in Boston and this location is ideally situated to explore both. If we're ever back in the area, we would love to go back. This is a beautiful and spacious home with New England charm and in a great location. The house looks exactly as pictured and was spotless. The rooms were well appointed with lots of space to sit and relax. It’s perfect for visiting this beautiful area of MA. Michael is a responsive and helpful host and very considerate of his guests. We would absolutely stay again and can highly recommend this home for your stay. Five star all the way.

This was our 3rd year renting, and we’ve already booked for the 4th year! That pretty much says it all! It’s our favorite long weekend of the year. You will not be disappointed.

The location was perfect for our needs. The beds are very comfortable, the shower is great with lots of hot water. It has a very comfortable and relaxing feel. There is an excellent Thai restaurant a few blocks away. The neighborhood is quiet and many local conveniences are in easy walking distance too.

The home was cozy and comfortable. Regina was responsive despite my low level questions, (granddaughter accidentally unplugged WiFi), lol! Are was very quiet, suburb like for sure. Bathrooms and kitchen were very well stocked and immaculate. If available on the trip this is my go to. Thank you Regina!!!

We absolutely loved our stay! The location was perfect for our family trip to Boston - a short walk to Boston Commons, and close to the T to get anywhere in the city quickly. We loved the historic charm of the house, and the well equipped kitchen made breakfasts easy each morning before we took off on our Freedom Trail adventures. Thanks for a great stay!

This is a huge space. There are a lot of stairs so don't rent this if you have trouble with stairs. The location was close to Boston but you will need a car or you will be taking the bus/T. There isn't any stores or restaurants nearby unless you want to walk a 1/2 mile or so. It was perfect for what we needed.

I've stayed at Mary and Frank's place twice already and just booked my third stay. I love staying here when I'm in Boston. Some highlights are 1) the fully stocked kitchen -- I like to cook when I travel and find everything I need. The dining table and chairs are so comfortable (seats 4) and I just love the morning light! Honestly, I think the place is even prettier than the photos show. 2) The beautiful living spaces face out onto woods--from the many windows in the kitchen and also the french doors in the living room, all you see is nature. Just lovely, very peaceful. 3) The fireplace! Being from a warmer part of the world, I just love the gas fireplace, which I can turn on or off without a worry. It's lovely to set my mug on the stone hearth to warm up as I prepare my morning coffee, and I just love spending time cozying there with a book at night. 4) Convenience and quiet all in one: the house is near a main highway connecting to Boston, but the neighborhood is very quiet!

We came to Boston for the marathon and are so grateful we chose to stay at George and Ann-Marie's bnb in Jamaica Plain. It is super close to the train that zips you right into the heart of Boston and is far enough away we could get some peace and enjoy the beautiful neighborhood away from all the race chaos. The home itself was very comfortable. We slept great. We enjoyed having coffee and drinks on the patio and lounging on the giant couches. It felt spacious with the 4 of us. We really liked walking 10 minutes up to Central for ice cream and restaurants, or 5 minutes over to the Sam Adams brewery. The neighborhood has tons of trees and was really quiet. George and Ann-Marie were very responsive and checked in with us during the stay to make sure we had all we needed. They also were able to accommodate a later check out, which was really helpful. Awesome spot!! We highly recommend it :)

We loved staying at Dan’s place. Great location - walkable to MIT and nearby shops and restaurants, as well as the Red Line (subway) and a bus line on Mass Ave to get into Boston. Even so, the house itself is on a quiet street so no city noise. While easy to walk places, we also appreciated having Dan’s permit to leave our car on the street outside the apartment during our stay. Dan is a great host - very responsive and available to answer questions and offer suggestions as needed. The apartment is comfortable and clean - it has been recently been renovated and is well equipped. Bed is especially comfortable! Easy to check-in and out - would definitely say again.

Rong was very friendly and helpful and communication with her was very reliable and uncomplicated. We had a good stay and the accommodation is a good base from which to explore Boston.

Mark and his villa were perfect for us during our "displacement" for almost 2 weeks while our floor was redone. He was the perfect host: 1 - being beyond accommoative with our quick displacement 2 - was an excellent communicator and lightning quick responses before/during/after our stay 3 - the villa is in a gorgeous area, with plenty to do nearby and all the amentities you could want: grocery stores, restaurants, and things to see/do super close 4 - there's plenty of room throughout the house for everyone (including our dog!) 5 - the kitchen is well-stocked both with cooking staples and equipment, even had a fresh bag of coffee waiting for us! I can't recommend him and this listing enough, whether you are displaced during reno's like we were or just in the area and looking for a place that can feel like a home away from home. It has everything you could need/want from my perspective, and I am very picky when I am spending an elongated period of time. Thanks Mark, was a pleasure :)

Like others' recommendation, Anna is such a warm hearted and knowledgable host. She will always care about you, good at communication while keep certain privacy. She will prepare you coffee and tea and cookie in the morning. Her house is very clean located at beautiful, peaceful and safe neighborhood with direct bus stop nearby. She help make my BM trip so easy and I will defenitely book again in the future and recommend to others.

I have stayed at quite a few Airbandbs and Anna's place is the best of all of them---quietest, best value for the cost, and nicest, most responsive host. I slept really well, which was important to me because I had a big race to run the next day. Anna is a charming host who was eager to help me with my every need. The place was spotless and everything was as good or better than expected. I would definitely go again, the next time I'm in this area. The location is great for doing all sorts of cultural and outdoor activities.

Anna is a wonderful host. Place is very clean and exactly as the pictures. I’ll be coming back when I visit Boston area.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tamara’s house. We arrived very late at night and everything is ready for us. We are a family of five and we do quite a bit of cooking. We got everything we needed from the house, saved us time and money. Highly recommend this house to everyone visiting the Boston/Newton area.
