The garden room is a delightful, quaint building originally a piggery, It is decorated to the highest standard in a contemporary style and is a lovely calm space, in which to relax and enjoy your stay. Modern dimmable downllighting and smaller lamps give a bright or more muted feel according to your need. Central heating makes it warm and cosy in the cooler weather. Egyptian cotton sheets give a luxurious feel to the kingsize bed and ensure a comfortable nights rest. Accommodation on one level.

The Annexe -Secluded & self-contained for 2 guests

The Annexe is self contained with its own entrance for 2 guests in a quiet road with off-road parking. Excellent location close to Broadstone shops including an M&S Foodhall, restaurants, pub and cafes. It is also an ideal location for Poole Ferry Port (4 miles), trips to the beach or exploring the countryside. Bus 5 mins. It comprises of large kitchen/diner, living room, bedroom with king size bed & separate walk-in shower room. Ideal for walkers, cyclists, golfers and seaside activities.

All on the first floor with separate entrance - we live downstairs. Adaptable - contact to discuss more than three guests. Consists of two double bedrooms (one regular double and one small double bed), shower room and separate living area. Living/dining space has small kitchenette area with a fridge, microwave, kettle, single hob and toaster plus dining table for four. Also has small lounge area with a Smart TV.. High speed WiFi, central heating, off road parking (subject to vehicle size).

Keep it simple at this peaceful but central ground floor independent access annexe near Wimborne Minster with the beautiful Jurassic coast within easy reach. We have a range of local shops only 10 minutes walk away. There is also a local pub within walking distance and many other lovely places to eat and shops in the historical town of Wimborne only 1 and a half miles away. There are many pretty local walks too. We are on a bus route with regular services to Bournemouth, Poole and Wimborne.

In this self contained annex, The Den offers a central location to one of the UK’s most popular areas. From exploring National Trust properties of castles & Brownsea Island to paddle boarding along Poole Harbour & exploring the famous South West coast path. Golf courses in the day to cheese & wine restaurants in the evening. 40min drive to the beautiful Jurassic coast of old harry rocks or Durdle door and under 30min bike ride to sandbanks beach. Poole ferry port is only 15min drive away..

Although the Annexe is part of our family home, we no longer live in the house & the property is only for guests staying at the annexe. During your stay explore the Dorset coast & forests, eat delicious meals at our local restaurants & pubs, spend a relaxing evening in fully covered hot tub surrounded by festoons lights, or spend the afternoon in the garden. The Annexe is a couple minutes walk away from pubs, restaurants, M&S & Tesco & lovely woodland walks. Sky sports is include.

River Cottage - Wimborne

River Cottage is a charming, historic property in the heart of Wimborne, once a glassblowers’ studio. Featuring a cosy lounge, dining area, a well-equipped kitchen, quirky toilet, and a spacious king-size bedroom with private balcony. Modern bathroom, 2nd double bedroom and workspace on landing. Stay in the very spacious well-appointed annex to Merley Mews. The 1805 Grade II listed renovated stables within the grounds of Merley House.

 Set in a very peaceful area just outside Wimborne and Poole with so many places to visit makes this stay a very relaxing and enjoyable location.

Quite getaway, with everything needed for a short stay. Stylish modern, stand alone studio, with private entrance. Modern shower room & kitchenette, with dining space and King size bed. There is a shared garden area with your own dining and lounging area. We do have a lovely little dog who is very friendly and also the occasional visiting friendly family dogs, who may be around in the garden to say hello.
