The pod was immaculately clean and was well equipped with everything you would need for a short stay. Super comfy bed too! Peaceful surroundings, loved waking up to the views of the water each morning. Toilet / shower facilities close by, which were also very clean Would happily stay again.

Wonderful, well equipped and surprisingly spacious. Lovely to stroll along the canal or enjoy nearby Primrose Hill. Andres was very quick to respond. A magical experience.

Nous avons passé une nuit chez Marteen. Spacieux et expérience originale que de dormir dans une péniche! Nous aurions voulu faire un tour en canoë mais le propriétaire n’était pas disponible ce jour là pour nous aider à la mise à l’eau. Juste ce petit regret qui aurait rendu notre séjour parfait!

Un moment hors du temps! Nous avons adoré notre séjour à Homeboat. Environnement paisible sur le canal, nous avons eu la chance de bénéficier d’une météo extrêmement favorable, ce qui nous a permis de profiter de la terrasse jusqu’au coucher du soleil… magique et très reposant. Belles prestations du logement, tout est à disposition et hôte très réactif. 2 petits points d’amélioration pour notre part: un store dans la chambre enfant, probablement présent auparavant mais manquant lors de notre séjour. Et une petite pancarte annonçant la location serait un plus, car nous n’avons pas tout de suite trouvé homeboat, mais c’est peut être juste nous ;-) et ce sont deux détails qui ne ternissent en rien l’expérience. Notre seul regret est de ne pas avoir pris une nuit supplémentaire!

Un endroit vraiment au calme et original. La cabane est spacieuse et bien équipé avec en plus une grande terrasse. Très bon accueil de Audrey et explications très claires ainsi qu’une flexibilité au top! Nous reviendrons.

We (Mom, dad, and kids of 12 and 15 years) had a great stay in Tom's boat. The boat was in the city of Gent when we rented it, and we really like the city. We were right next to the tram and bus stop, so it was very easy to get around, and it was only a small 30 min walk to the center. Tom has done a great job with this boat. It is huge, so there is a lot of space, and you can really feel that Tom is an artist and has a great eye for beautiful, funny and quirky stuff, so you can spend a lot of hours just enjoying the boat. We also loved to sit outside on the patio, enjoying canal life :D As Tom also wrote to us, it is not a five star hotel, it is a home, but we also felt very much at home and just relaxed a lot. There is 3 bedrooms, so it's just perfect for us. Tom is a very nice guy, and he gave us lots of great recommendations to the local area. It is really worth listening to his suggestions, and he will gladly answer any question you may have. If you are looking for something homie and unique, I strongly recommend Toms boat (And we would love to come back in the future).

Had such an amazing stay at Sharon’s place! The setting was unreal, no complaints whatsoever. The setting was beautiful, we were lucky with amazing weather so spent our days lounging on the lake decking! The cabin was super clean and beautiful. The hosts were so responsive and accommodating. Would recommend 100%, a truly lovely stay :) thank you again!

Great little place. Beautiful view of the marina. Lovely area. Great for taking the dog for a walk. We hired a boat for the day which was around a 30 second walk from the property. Peppery cosy and warm. Definitely recommend and we will stay again

We had a wonderful 4 night stay on Water Lodge. A fabulous base for exploring the Isle of Wight. We all slept amazingly well and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay for a family of four. Thank you Yarmouth Harbour!

Jenny was a great host! The Cabin was spotless on arrival! Very cosy and well equipped... As previous guests had noted the bed is super comfy!! The outside area for dogs is brilliant. Definitely recommend the Culm Valley Inn! Fantastic atmosphere - delicious home cooked food - 15 min walk. Strand Stores serve an incredible breakfast and sell high quality local produce! We also enjoyed a nice day out at Sidmouth beach..

Gorgeous boat. Such a treat to stay on and so well fitted out like a real home from home. Super easy to find and get settled in thanks to lots of information before the stay. Lovely peaceful location on the river. Wonderful way to spend the Easter weekend.

A mini paradise! The gardens are beautiful, it’s clear Trevor has spent a lot of time and effort on building it up. The facilities are amazing, you can spend a whole weekend there without needing to go anywhere given the hot tub, outdoor sofas, fire pit and everything on the barge. Inside was spotless, the facilities were like new. Trev was a great host, taking the time to chat us through how everything worked and making us feel at ease.

I have always been intrigued by the narrow boats along London's canals. Getting to stay on Martin's boat was a dream come true!! Martin met up with me and walked me to the boat to show me how things work. Staying on the boat is not like staying at a hotel. It's a special experience, and there are certain things to know for your stay (how to work the fireplace, the tub drain, the composting toilet, etc.) None of it is difficult and it's part of experiencing boat life. The bed was so cozy, I slept like a baby. I felt safe and secure the whole time I was there, and had everything I needed... I mean, a clawfoot bathtub on a boat??!!?!? What more could you ask for? Martin is perhaps the nicest host I've ever encountered. I wish I could have stayed longer, and will definitely try to book the boat again next time I'm in London.

What a fabulous and unique experience for our first visit to London — would absolutely stay here again! This boat was full of all the modern amenities you could need, even a washer. The canal was gorgeous and so peaceful to stroll along, we felt right at home. The host was super responsive at all times and provided ample instruction in advance for locating upon arrival. If you’re looking for something more exciting than your standard hotel room, this is it!

Experiencia fantástica. Los niños lo disfrutaron muchísimo. Aunque hubo una pega, en el grupo viajaba una persona ciega y el alojamiento no es nada accesible, requería ayuda para moverse por el barco. Por lo demás estuvo genial, muy limpio, camas muy cómodas, salón-cocina muy amplio. Jonathan, el anfitrión, muy amable, resolviendo todas las dudas al momento y facilitándonos la llegada, aunque nos adelantamos a la hora prevista. En resumen, muy recomendable, sobre todo si buscas una experiencias a diferente en Londres.

Lovely place, very smart and comfortable Great to wake up to the gentle sound of water and birds and the very gentle movement of the houseboat.

We had a fantastic relaxing time at the water snug. Absolutely stunning cabin and surroundings. Loved watching the Canadian Geese, seeing the different birds including the green woodpecker, blue tit's and grey wagtail. Hearing the owl and just completely relaxing on the veranda The water snug was decorated beautifully which we loved how it was done. Patrick and Juliette were lovely and friendly and was a pleasure to meet them and cant wait to come back and try the little cabin next!

We had a lovely few nights on the houseboat with two young children. There was plenty of space for us all and lovely local amenities. The benefit of having a park next door and the beach a 5-minute walk away was perfect.

What a find. Quirky (in a great way) and calm and peaceful. Beautiful location and really helpful host. Would love to come back.

Fiona was an amazing host. Before we arrived she was super helpful with restaurant suggestions for the Holidays. We had food, coffee and creamer along with the best little mince meat pies. We were met at the entrance and helped into the boat. Easy instructions on the few things that are a little different on a boat. The boat was super charming and relaxing. The location was absolutely the best! We hope to visit again next year, this would be our choice again.

Great and unique bnb for a trip to London, especially with teenagers! Just a short distance from the city and yet very peaceful. Perfect ‘homecoming’ after a day in the crowded centre. Everything we needed was there and the extra showers at the marina were a bonus. Rebecca and her team were easygoing and very friendly.
