Our beautiful guest house is surrounded by stunning countryside - just waiting to be walked or cycled. It comfortably sleeps two (but has a travel cot for little ones) with an open plan kitchen and cosy living area, plus bathroom. Outside is a sunny garden area with table and seating. The space is really light with lots of windows and oak features. Lots of thought and love have gone into decor to make it a really lovely space. The apartment is separate from the main house and very private.

All of the city's historical, cultural, sporting attractions and shops are within walking distance. From Widcombe, you can enjoy beautiful walks, either along the canal or by joining the Bath skyline, where you'll soon be in tranquil countryside. After a day exploring, you'll find plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars to unwind in, locally, or a short walk away in town.

Our local pub the Lock Keeper is a 5 min walk away. We are alongside the River Avon - from the front door you can walk straight over the fields. The Swan pub in Swineford is roughly a 45 min walk away & The Bird in Hand in Saltford is approx the same, all of which serve good food. There are many quality golf courses close by.

We welcome you to Robin’s Nest - a pretty, secret little haven in the tiny hamlet of Long Dean, nestled in the base of the beautiful Bybrook valley. Just 1 mile from Castle Combe and 10 miles from the Georgian spa city of Bath. Robin’s Nest has a secure gated entrance with a security keypad and plenty of parking right next to the nest. There is an outside terrace to enjoy. Robins Nest has been called “the perfect romantic getaway”, “my favourite escape from the city” and “a hidden gem” !

Self catering cottage, sleeps 4, in Portishead.

The early 18C cottage is a part of our home but totally self contained. It retains many of the features of the time and is full of character. The two doubles are a good size and have wardrobes and shelving. Both have tea and coffee making facilities. The property enjoys two bathrooms; each close to the each of the bedrooms. There is a large lounge with a wood burning stove, ample seating, TV/DVD player and a piano. The large kitchen has a range, microwave cooker and dishwasher.

Situated less than 10 meters from the UK's oldest Brass Mill, skirting on the tranquil Mill Island with complimentary access to Kayaks, paddle boards and bikes and all being only a 10 minute drive into historic Bath's city centre. We are on hand to solve problems, but more often than not you may not actually see us at all.
