Our stay could not have been better. Was the perfect place to stay to run the Newport marathon and we really enjoyed the cozy feel of the place. Everything was so clean and the yard was a great bonus in nice spring weather. Could not have asked for a better or more thoughtful host!

From the minute we pulled into the driveway, our family was highly impressed with the views from Kristen's home. We ended our 2023 summer with a bang. This beautiful home had everything you could ever need on vacation. We enjoyed the backyard with nightly fires. Our teen daughter rarely left the bunk house. We loved the fact that our own private beach was just a few steps away & the public beach was less than ten minutes away. The kids and adults enjoyed the beach trampoline. Kristen was delightful to deal with. She was a SUPER host. So many little details and extras she puts into her beach home. Already thinking of our next visit.

Tyler’s home was the most magical place to spend my 29th birthday with the girls! The home is ten times more beautiful than the pictures. They don’t do it justice. We lucked out with the most beautiful weather the first weekend of May and had the most fun weekend. The house is so updated and clean and the perfect sized cottage for 3-4 girlfriends. We loved having coffee and watching the sunrise in the morning on the deck!! Couldn’t recommend anymore. Also easy 5 minute walking to restaurants/ bars! Will be back!

Very well equipped house, amazing backyard with pool and hot tub, definitely the highlight of the house. The washer wasn't working but Stephen was a great host, very communicative and offered to get our clothes washed if needed (we didn't need it). Would definitely recommend!

We had such a wonderful time at Don's beach house! What a great find it is! So close to the beach and restaurants both are within walking distance. Watching the Egrets every morning and afternoon from the awesome deck was so peaceful. If you enjoy bird watching this is the place for you! Sunsets from the deck are absolutely spectacular ! The house is on a beautiful lot, was very clean and surprisingly spacious inside and out! Don was always quick to respond and answered any questions we had. We cannot wait to come back again next summer!

This is the second time I’ve stayed at Sheila’s cottage. It’s always a pleasant experience. Sheila is very responsive, and I’m highly satisfied with the cottage. It’s exactly as described, and everything worked flawlessly. I could not recommend this more highly.

It was so peaceful and serene. The view was spectacular. It was great to be one with nature and wildlife. I truly enjoyed the stillness of the water without a lot of noise to sully the moment.. I got a lot of work done & enjoyed myself as well. I definitely would recommend this place if you want peace of mind, mixed in with a good beach experience.

Jocelyn's place was very easy to find with good parking. The cottage was great and the perfect size. Would recommend!

Essays have never been a strong skill of mine, so please excuse my bluntness. Prudence Island is not for everyone. It is however for me and my family. We came to ride bikes, fish, walk around, and just relax. It was only for a few days, and we have 4 kids, so relaxing was a bit tricky. Thats on us. However, as far as Taiji's cottage is concerned, it catered to what we were looking for. With quick access from the Ferry, to the beach, or even indoor entertainment (we arrived just before a storm). He and his team had provided everything we could need, and then some. (Thank you for having a pack and play for our baby.) While I'm hopeful to own a place on Prudence (someday...) I would certainly like to stay here again, and would highly recommend Taiji's place to any interested individual or family. Thanks again, -Patrick Cassidy, 3rd generation islander

My daughter and I stayed at John’s place for a week and it was wonderful. The space was clean and perfectly appointed. The proximity to the beach was great, too. John was an extremely responsive host. I would absolutely stay here again. Barrington is a great town. If you’re a coffee drinker you have to try Borealis in Riverside. The Blue Kangaroo and The Black Pear are great breakfast/lunch spots as well. We loved Barrington Books - great spot for great gifts.

The cottage was clean and comfortable and the location/neighborhood was terrific. Air conditioning would have been great to deal with the dampness at times but the fans kept the place comfortable enough. We will return next vacation! Loved the area as well and the guide book that Norm provided was a great help/addition.

Fly Fishers Cottage was the perfect choice for my visit home for the holidays. The cottage is exactly as described, spotless, super cozy, and it was even decorated for Christmas! It was the exact amount of space I needed and felt like a home away from home. It is ideally located to get to Jamestown and Newport, as well as to other parts of RI and MA where I was visiting family. Clare is a wonderful host, very responsive, and flexible with check in/out which I hugely appreciated. She also made sure outside was cleared and gritted after some snow - it seems like a small thing, but made me feel welcome and taken care of. I really hope to stay at the cottage again on my upcoming summer visit - thank you Clare!

Great location- close to everything, but quiet enough to feel like you are away from the hustle and bustle. The hosts were very flexible with helping us make the first trip with our baby smooth. Would definitely recommend their place!

Windsurfers Cove was exactly as pictured and described. The house was immaculate, extremely cozy and had everything we needed. The location and scenery was perfect! Absolutely peaceful! The host Jonas was very prompt with responding prior to and during our stay. We look forward to returning.

This is a sweet house in a great location. Comfortable and functional, with herons fishing all day in the pond across the road. Would love to come back in warm weather to take advantage of the screened in porch overlooking the marsh!

Drake’s cottage is the perfect airbnb: deeply personal, comfortable, beautiful, and a little quirky. Simultaneously homey and luxurious. A place that makes you want to get to know your host. We loved our stay here 2 years ago, and looked forward to returning. It was just as wonderful as we had remembered. To save you from having to find my earlier review, I’ll repeat some of the things I wrote then. Everywhere you look in the cottage, your eye falls on something beautiful or interesting - it’s full of art, and good books, and lovely furniture. The kitchen is thoughtfully stocked. There's a cupboard full of board games, and next to the door are boots, jackets, and a pair of binoculars for guests to borrow. The bedrooms are sunny and spacious; the beds are dreamily comfortable, and made up with linen sheets. Both times we’ve stayed at Hurricane Hill, family occasions have kept us away for most of each day. We are planning to come back simply to BE there. It’s a very special place.

Lisa was very nice and responded quickly. It is a cute cottage with a nice back yard and walking distance to the beach.

This place exceeded our expectations & needs! The host was kind enough to let us check in earlier at a cost & we’re so glad we did. It was a beautiful location & set up. We enjoyed the special touches to make it feel welcoming. Thanks for the “extras” you offered incase we forgot to bring anything. Everything was great. Would most definitely stay here again!

stayed here with my wife, our 18month old, and our friend. this was good spot for 2 nights to explore the Providence area. definitely it is a little different being on the backside of a barber shop, next to a bunch of derelict vehicles, but the inside of the accommodation is exactly like the pictures and was satisfactory. the accommodation includes all of the basics that I would expect in an airbnb. outside noise level was expected being on a main road during the evening, but dissipated after 8 or 9pm. overall, was happy with our stay and would stay again.

My partner and I spent a little less than a week at Christian's place and were already talking about booking it again for next year by day two. The location is simply unbeatable. It's super private, surrounded by trees and plants, has private access directly to the beach, and is a cozy, lovely place to stay. The perfect size for two -- felt very spacious. We went after Labor Day, so the beach was on the quiet side, but a number of local places had closed for the season (just be aware of that trade-off when booking off-season). Couldn't have asked for a better vacation spot. We will definitely be back! This is a special place.
