I regularly stay here when in St George overnight. The check in and out is flexible, the accommodation good and right in .the heart of St George and the staff are always friendly and helpful.

I had a great stay at the old bank hotel. I traveled from Canada and Fee arranged an early check in for me so I didn't have to hang around whilst exhausted from a long journey. I was greeted warmly by Fee and her bar staff and helped with my heavy case (much appreciated!). The room itself was large, very clean and comfortable with all I needed for my stay. The mini fridge came in very handy. All the staff were friendly and helpful and Fee was very responsive with any questions I jad. Check out was easy. Thank you Fee for a lovely stay! I would stay here again 100%.

I have visited the pub a couple of times before but this is the first time I have stayed at Alma Tavern. I stayed in Room 1 which was clean, warm and quiet. All the bar staff were friendly and gave clear instructions on how to check in (both while the pub was open and closed) and where to leave the key on check out. The communal breakfast area is a nice touch and it was nice to have cold milk and a bottle of cold water. Although the windows overlook a road, I found it quiet and no problem at all. One other guest commented on it being a good idea to look past the initial staircase to the rooms and I agree, I guess it could do with a lick of paint but the room itself and the location of the pub mean I will be looking to book again soon. Just in case it is of interest, parking on Alma Vale Road is free from 5pm to 9am and then you can park for 3 hours using RingGo or just pay at the machine. I arrived at 4, paid for one hour, then just set RingGo to cover the car from 9 to midday.

This is a wonderful, quirky, Victorian-period small hotel, about ten minutes walk from the centre of Bath. The staff are lovely and they do a first class full English breakfast

If you arr looking for just an overnight stay, no frills, Liang's Mansion is good place. We are 4, 2 adults and 2 teenagers and there's so much space.

A great place for the airport. A lovely change from the anonymous chains. Well done Jeff.
