The house was clean and ready for us upon arrival. Kitchen was sufficiently stocked and rooms that all the necessary items. The house was spacious, and two of the rooms offered a stunning view of the lake. The walking path around the lake was just a short distance away, making it a perfect spot for nice strolls. The neighborhood itself was quiet and relaxing, with Coles, Woolworths, and various eateries conveniently close by. One of the biggest advantages was its location ;just a 20+ minute drive to the CBD, making it easy to explore Brisbane. Overall, a lovely experience, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and serene stay.

Great location and beautiful town house with great convenience of stores and cafe within a 1-2minute walk.

The place was great for a relaxing weekend. Lots of shops and restaurants a short drive away, and there was lots to enjoy on the property. The owner was very helpful and accomodating. Would definitely go back again.

My family and I had the most wonderful stay at Marie's gorgeous property. Highly recommended! It is peaceful, in a really quiet neighbourhood, extremely clean and just close to where we needed to go to everyday for our activities, which was Manly. Everything was exactly as described and in the photos. Marie was really accommodating, friendly and flexible. The aircon was a godsend during this summer, and there are separate aircons in each bedroom. The high stools at the kitchen made it convenient for a quick breakfast everyday. The full-size fridge was another godsend, as we cooked most of our meals. And there are plenty of towels and bath mats! There is an IGA, bakery, butcher and chemist less than a 5-minute drive away at Manly Village, and at Wynnum Plaza less than a 10-minute drive away are Woolworths, Coles, Kmart and the awesome Super Butcher. Thank you Marie for sharing your property with us and making our stay at Brisbane so awesome.

Great place, enough space for everyone to have their own rooms, ensuite & aircon & ceiling fans were all very much appreciated! Loved that it was away from all the busyness of the city, but still drivable to the theme parks for the kids. Quiet & peaceful surroundings. Neighbours dogs did not like the storms, but were otherwise fine.

We had a lovely week long stay at Bernadette's place. It was very private and had a portion of the yard fenced off for our dogs. We are in between places and I wish I could have stayed longer. I can see why it is frequently booked out. I must comment that the king size bed was so comfortable! If I ever come back to the North side of Brisbane I home I can stay with Bernadette!

Loved this place. Central for a lot of places. Restaurant's right on your doorstep. Citycat a few seconds walk. The flat was well equipped and spotless. Host was always ready to help with anything. Would definitely recommend this place and will definitely go back. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

We enjoyed our stay at North Lakes. Close to the lake for a morning walk or afternoon at the local playground. Restaurants and shopping close by.

We highly recommend staying at Amanda and Craig’s beautiful Samford Lakes cottage. We had the best weekend getaway! We got to bring our little bulldog along which made it even more special. There is so much to do aswell. We spent the day playing tennis, swimming in the massive pool, rowing the boat along the lake and even having pizza out of their poolside pizza oven. We loved chatting with Amanda and Craig and hearing Craig’s stories with a glass of wine and a freshly cooked pizza. The room was absolutely stunning too. It was very spacious and looked over the lake and the lillypads. You can even see the cows across the water. We absolutely loved using the massive bath, waking up an having a coffee on the huge veranda overlooking the water, playing board games by the fireplace and running around the property with our fur baby. John was also incredible and gave great recommendations and helped us set up some activities. Couldn’t recommend it high enough. Can’t wait to return.

We had such an awesome stay in midway cottage such beautiful scenery and very relaxing with lots to do and see highly recommended staying we will be back and being dog friendly is a big 5 stars

We had a great stay here in Margate! Cute cottage which was perfect size for the 3 of us. Peaceful area - good location if you want to do an Australia Zoo day trip. Hosts have us lots of suggestions and places to eat for sunset.

Beautiful spot, not far from the city but away from it all. Feels more remote than it is. Space for alot of people. So many activities or just lay about the pool.
