Enjoy a peaceful experience at this centrally-located haven in the Donegal gaeltacht. A stylish, newly refurbished house situated in a small, quiet estate overlooking Ballyness Bay. Convenient to many local amenities eg kayaking, wind surfing, mountain climbing, river walks, ferry service to the islands, Glenveagh national park, Ards forest park and many more. A host of beautiful sandy beaches are from a short 5 minute drive away. Shops, bars and hotel all within a convenient two minute walk.

Our cosy hut consists of a comfortable bedroom with an enchanted view of Assaroe Lake: enjoy it on our 3 deckings! The cabin is very close to our house but secluded from it, buried in the woods. The room provides a tranquill escape from frantic life:- there’s Wi-Fi but no television , just a radio. Kitchen facilities are basic but functional. We provide the basis for a continent breakfast. Beaches and hiking trails are very close by. WE ACCEPT PETS ONLY AFTER CONSULTATION WITH THEIR OWNER

Paddys thatched cottage is a recently renovated property built circa 1880 set on 7 acres of farmland & still retains the original features/character including the internal exposed stone wall & large fireplace making it very cosy. This area is very popular for trail walking in the hills or the purpose built walkways. Outdoor activities are plentiful such as kayaking, sea swimming, guided rock climbing & golfing. If the weather doesn't permit you can always light the stove & put the feet up.
