We very much enjoyed this retro beach shack. The balcony and views were exceptional with the shore and very private beach just across the road. Was quiet time to visit. Loved having the pool table. Great place to unwind and relax with furry friends. Will definitely visit again.

We had a great stay at Simon’s. It catered for the whole family with kids and dogs. Great location directly opposite the beach, undercover bbq area and kids playground. Big fenced backyard for the dogs and play equipment to entertain the kids. There’s a studio detached from the house which was perfect for a guest with sensory sensitives when peace and quiet was needed. Highly recommended.

Stunning view. Great range of things in the kitchen. Basic discussions etc, but everything we needed with enough beds. It's a 40 minute walk into town, with bike path right out the front. Bring a pillow if you like anything that isn't soft.

We decided to book Gaye’s place as we were nearing the end of our two-week road trip and needed a quiet spot to rest, relax, and prepare for our flight home. We arrived late at night, but Gaye and her husband Barry were there to warmly greet us and show us around. Throughout our road trip, we had been enjoying self check-ins, and at the end of our journey, we were blessed with the warmth of personal hospitality. It was such a beautiful and fitting end to our trip. Thank you!

We loved our stay in this simple, relaxed, comfortable beach house in a beautiful location. The beach over the road is perfect for kids to swim in shallow calm water, and to explore — snorkelling, kayaking, looking for crabs, and watching pelicans. Path along the foreshore great for morning walks. The house had everything we needed. Great to have a grassy backyard for kids to kick a ball, and the deck out the front had a lot more room for sitting and hanging out than the pics show, with a good sized umbrella for hot sunny days. Chelsea was helpful and easy to communicate with — much appreciated! All up, a great break and we’d love to be back.

Beautiful home in a quiet and peaceful area. Everything was clean and tidy and the house was really lovely and spacious. The kids absolutely loved the pool (which was quite big too) and they also loved playing table tennis. Host was very responsive and helpful. Franklin beach is not far and was lovely to visit and the bakery at the nearby shopping centre had some lovely food! Only thing I would suggest would be curtains for the house, particularly the bathrooms. While the house was private and the bathrooms did have large gardens/trees blocking the fence, I personally would have felt more comfortable with the extra privacy in the bathrooms. Aside from that, everything about the home was perfect!

Had a great stay at Rebecca’s place for the family for 3 nights. The property was clean, and had all the essential amenities which a family requires to cater for young children and elderly. The property is located in a peaceful and serene location, and a short drive to Cape Schank. Communication was precise and prompt, and would highly recommend the host.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect as a short walk to the promenade (some of our group walked/ran to St Kilda each day), supermarket, restaurants and other shopping all a short walk. Close to city for exploring there too. The lounge area is really roomy and everything we needed was available in the kitchen. There is only one bathroom but a second toilet downstairs. Great sound system with bluetooth so was nice to have background music of our own choosing too.

We absolutely loved our stay, the house is lovely and well equipped. The beds were probably the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in at an air BNB stay. The house was very homely and you feel comfortable immediately. The outdoor area is beautiful and the pool was lovely. The weather wasn’t quite warm enough to enjoy the pool as much as we’d have liked. The host are very responsive and lovely to communicate with.

I had a wonderful experience staying at Roger’s Airbnb! The place was spotless, beautifully maintained, and exactly as described. Roger was a fantastic host: responsive, welcoming, and full of great local tips that made my stay even more enjoyable. He went out of his way to ensure I had everything I needed and made me feel right at home. Wonderful stay in Port Melbourne, perfect for short or long stays. Spacious home with great natural light, cooling and heating. Fast internet, cozy bedrooms and clean kitchen with plenty of amenities in the kitchen. Restaurants, cafes and supermarkets all walking distance and was a perfect location for my time while attending the Melbourne Formula 1 Grand Prix. Highly recommend this stay, will be back hopefully the next time I'm up for the GP or planning a long stay with family. Thanks Gabrielle!

Lovely house close to everything in Portarlington. Clean with everything you need for a few nights away. Nicole was very easy to deal with and was fine with us arriving early and leaving a bit later. Thanks for letting us stay Nicole. Great place in a great location.

Perfect one bedroom access to full house but just what was needed for me as I was only really sleeping there… clean and tidy and walking distance to beach and shops

Fantastic stay! The house is much more spacious than it appears in the photos and feels both secure and private, despite being on a main road—which actually makes access to nearby facilities incredibly convenient. Beautifully styled, impeccably clean, and well-equipped with everything you could need, especially in the kitchen. The hosts were excellent communicators—quick to respond and incredibly generous. Would highly recommend! We would happily stay there again in the future!
