Taigh Mairi (Mary's House) Self Catering

Our house Taigh Mairi is in Upper Breakish on the A87(main road). Taigh Mairi is a 5 minute drive into Broadford (3 miles) and 7 miles from the Skye bridge. Within a 10 minute walk is the Misty Bottle whisky shop.We have created a small, private, open plan self catering studio for 2 within our family home. The studio has its own facilities none of which are used by us. It is set up for guest use only. There are plenty of facilities to make your stay as comfortable and as homely as possible.

Falasgair

Falasgair is a modern cabin on a working croft, which captures uninterrupted views over Portree bay, Ben Tianavaig and the Cuillin hills in the far distance. The cabin itself has a full height atrium which includes a functional kitchenette, seating area, log-burner and a three-piece bathroom suite. The mezzanine level is accessed by a wooden staircase featuring a comfortable double bed. Situated just off the Scorrybreach trail this is the perfect launchpad for your Skye adventure.

"Taigh na Bata" - Boat House

Shore-side house with a sandy beach just across a very quiet lane. Stunning view of Broadford Bay & Beinn na Caillich. Excellent base location for touring Skye & the surrounding area. After four great years of hosting with AirBnB within in our home, we've used the covid hiatus to transform the old croft house into a spectacular and luxurious retreat. In previous reviews, you'll see up to four guests in one room; this has been upgraded to 2 guests in the whole cottage...

The Little Hemp Cabin

The Little Hemp Cabin sits on our croft in Breakish, just outside Broadford in South Skye. It’s a small, self-contained space surrounded by open ground, big skies and shifting Highland weather. Built from hemp and timber, the cabin feels naturally warm and calm. The walls regulate temperature well, so it stays comfortable year-round without feeling sealed or artificial. Inside, the layout is simple and uncluttered, with everything you need and nothing you don’t.

Lusa Bothy

Lusa Bothy is a luxury getaway location for couples on the Isle of Skye. It was the idea of the owner to renovate an old stone building into an amazing space with a feast for the senses in mind. High end, bespoke creations and craftsmanship completed by professional artisans using local materials and artwork, some of which are over 250 years old, make Lusa Bothy a quirky mix of the old, the new, and the upcycled, wrapped in traditional, Highland warmth.

The Hobbit House on the Isle of Skye

The Hobbit house with its round door is 10 mins walk to the sea and beach. It has one comfortable double bed, shower room, kitchen and dining area. It has beautiful views of Beinn na Cailleach, Broadford Bay and the islands of Raasay, Scalpay and Pabay. The Hobbit House is NOT suitable for pets. Bruaich Mhor self-catering cottage

A comfortable, modern, well-equipped cottage with mountain and sea views. With good access to the island and near local shops and restaurants, Bruaich Mhor is an ideal base for exploring the wonderful Isle of Skye. The cottage sleeps a maximum of two people. Fuaran self catering is a light and airy modern caravan with gas central heating and double glazing. A patio door leads on to the decking where you can relax and enjoy the stunning scenery. We are situated in Breakish which is 2 miles from Broadford, the nearest village which has a supermarket, restaurants and pubs, and 7 miles from the Skye bridge.
