The apartment at Panorama is quiet, spacious and light overlooking the river from the ridge. Only 10 minute's drive from Barnstaple and 20 from Ilfracombe, with beaches at Saunton, Croyde and Putsborough, too. Skirr Cottage was the home of the acclaimed writer Henry Williamson who is best known as the author of Tarka the Otter. With its pretty whitewashed exterior the cottage is set next to a trickling stream next to the historic Norman church of St. George in the heart of Georgeham village. Putsborough surfing beach is a 25 minute walk via fields or via a lane. or 5 minute drive. The Kings Arms and 17th century Rock Inn serving gastro pub food are 1 minute and a 4 minute walk away.
