After being displaced from our home after damage from severe weather we were so fortunate to find this location. The house accommodated our family of 4 with pets for nearly a month without any issues. The kitchen is well equipped, bathrooms are well finished, bedrooms were comfortable and the location was very clean. The backyard is a beautiful and relatively private space hidden within a 15 minute walk to the downtown restaurants or the beach area. Anzhelika is an excellent host who was very responsive when needed, provided clear instructions and ample privacy. We would happily recommend this location to friends and family attending the area for events.

Our group had a great stay! The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and in a great location. Ballard Cabin was the perfect getaway! It has a warm, rustic hunting cabin vibe that made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The space is incredibly cozy, with a super comfy couch and a great collection of books to browse through. The kitchen was amazing—fully stocked with everything we needed to cook a gourmet meal. The location was also perfect: just minutes from town and a short drive to Arrowhead Provincial Park, where we spent the weekend skating. We rented Lyle’s place for 2 months while working on a contract in the Huntsville area. Was a great long term place to stay. Had everything we needed plus lots more. Lyle was always extremely responsive with messages and seemed happy to accommodate our stay.

This was a great place in a great location. It was perfect for teenaged kids with the games room and arcade games. Fun times.

The place is exactly how it was advertised. Everything in the property was well thought of in terms of what people might need in their stay. Kitchen was well equipped that I was able to cook without issues. The host provided info about the location and places to see which is very thoughtful. I enjoyed a peaceful 2 weeks at this beautiful Airbnb! The setting is surreal surrounded by nature and a river! I had everything I needed and I enjoyed a few nights with a cozy fire in the wood stove. The bed and couches were very comfortable. The No Frills in Shelburne was a great grocery store nearby. Wendy was always very responsive and helpful. As clearly noted in the description, there is no cell service but not a big deal as there is wifi. I hope to be back again one day! A true gem!

This was the perfect airbnb for a relaxing weekend getaway! The apartment was beautiful with lots of natural light throughout, and a balcony overlooking the lake. Lesley and Ian were friendly and thoughtful hosts - we were greeted upon arrival and we especially appreciated the late checkout offered to us, which allowed us some extra time to enjoy the beautiful view by the dock. We hope to be back!

Peaceful lakeside retreat! Wonderful place to relax and rest while watching the water and listening to the many different birds. We thoroughly enjoyed the rocking chairs down by the lake. We will definitely have some evening fires is we get the opportunity to come back. The apartment is maybe the cleanest we've experienced to date. I love that the bed sheets did not smell of highly perfumed fabric softener, as I am highly sensitive to that. Thank you, Doreen! We thoroughly enjoyed chatting with this lovely couple! Anuhea was an amazing host. The place is as described, beautiful & cozy. Short waltz to downtown Peterborough. Did not have enough time in our quick visit to do the sauna, but what a bonus!!! We would stay a hundred times over & bigly recommend these wonderful people & their guest suite.

Elijah’s place was very spacious, homey, clean, and as described; the bed was very comfortable and all the appliances worked as described; we didn’t need to ask for anything additionally and they were kind enough to offer us a checkout time of 12pm which meant we didn’t need to rush in the morning; will highly recommend to everyone wanting to visit the local trails, beautiful patches of nature and Vettä spa, as it’s practically walking distance

I had a wonderful solo experience at Catherine's cabin. It was cozy, comfortable and had everything I needed to cook simple delicious meals. BBQ for dinners and the frying pan was perfect for breakfast. The view was absolutely stunning, which you can enjoy from the private dock or from the cabin. It was only a 15 minute drive away from beautiful hikes and the grocery store or butcher. Very grateful to have found this place and will definitely come back.

This was the best cabin getaway where we instantly felt at home. It felt like we had a personal waterfall right beside our room. It was so breathtaking and serene. And it was so warm and cozy inside the cabin with the fireplace. I booked this so my sister and I could get away from the city and completely disconnect. Thoroughly enjoyed our time in nature and hope to be back in future ✅😎🌲

“Hostess with the mostest” is an understatement for Sandra. When she says all you need to bring is your overnight bag and groceries, she means it! Her and Dejay are lovely people, offering an incredible getaway. The attention to detail and commitment to their guests is unmatched. 10/10 would recommend and return!

Our family of three spent two nights at Leah and Kevin’s cabin. The property is beautiful, private and peaceful; surrounded by forest. The cabin itself was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The wood burning stove guarantees a cozy stay. The cabin is perfectly located, everything within a short distance drive. Looking forward to coming back in the future!

This is a great spot! Just steps from the lake and with your own private dock and fire pit, it’s hard not to fall in love with Muskoka’a charm. Easy to find and access, stocked with all the amenities you need, and feels like home. We stayed just one night but wished we had stayed longer. Communication with Cassie was quick and her thorough instruction guide gave us all of the information we ever could’ve needed (and more!). We would definitely stay here again.
