The host and reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly. A couple of issues we had on arrival were swiftly dealt with in a friendly and efficient manner. Our host was very flexible and went out of her way to ensure we were happy during our stay. The location of the accommodation is excellent and it sits in an amazing area. It's quiet, rural and very pretty. We look forward to visiting again.

On arrival at Lytchett Manor we were greeted by friendly staff, we were given very clear instructions as to where our accommodation was. On first impressions we were like “wow”, very clean, very well maintained, just amazing & it didn’t disappoint for the couple of days we were there, the shower/toilet blocks were absolutely spotless and very well lit at night, sinks to do your pots & pans, facilities for laundry cleaning, what more can I say, except the added bonus was NO noisy arcades or club house!!! We will definitely be going back again and staying for longer, keep up the excellent work Lytchett Manor 👌

Its was a last min booking due to meeting family at rockley park, very comfortable bed and clean but quite expensive for one night due to being easter .

Perfect stay for the second year running. We’ve had a wonderful weekend, eaten at The Pig and Lind House hotel and spa at Chewton Glen. Then had this little gem to wind down in after. Thank you

this wasn't our first cycling trip and stay, fantastic family and welcome. couldn't ask for a better place to stay, added benefit that we where allowed to store our bikes in a locked room. I strongly recommend this location and Rebekah, Greg and the family are great hosts, nothing is too much trouble. see you again....

Our one night stay in the treehouse was fabulous… Set in a private spot with great views the treehouse provided surprisingly spacious accommodation. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen area is functional with sink, toaster, hob, fridge and utensils. The separate private toilet/shower is literally a few steps from the main treehouse, it is set up as a shower wet room with WC, very clean and modern. The outdoor space is great with table and chairs and a fire pit that is great for bbq cooking and also supplying heat sitting out on a chilly evening, we loved listening to the abundant bird song whilst watching deer, peacocks/hens and the odd rabbit while the sausages sizzled over the embers. At night the whole area is subtly illuminated by atmospheric lighting for pathways and coloured lighting into trees to create a wonderful after dark strolling experience… We highly recommend the treehouse and the other quirky accommodations we saw at Moonacres, and will stay again.

We had such a wonderful stay at Darren & Jax’s shepherds hut! It was incredibly cosy and we settled in straight away. We made the most of the beautiful weather with a BBQ in the sunshine, and it was so lovely to see our dog free to roam and make friends with the gorgeous resident dogs. The hut had everything we needed for a relaxing break, and the peaceful setting made it even more special. We’ll definitely be booking again, highly recommend!

This was the second time we stayed at the glorious little Acorn Hut. Again we were very warmly welcomed by the family and we had a perfect stay! We will go back again!

Beautiful location, fabulous facilities, amazing hosts. Comfortable, homely, well equipped and cosy accommodation. Highly recommended. We were only there for one night but would have been more then happy to stay for longer and do some more exploring round the area. Very impressed.

Firstly, we will definatley be back in the future! We decided to stay due to its proximity to Longleat but also the coast. The pod did not disapoint, it was very clean and had everything we needed. The weather was lovely which meant the far reaching views were beautiful. Such a lovely peaceful place to stay

We had such an amazing get away, it was so relaxing and felt like home. Paul was super helpful, made us feel comfortable and gave a great recommendation for food. Close enough to get to the Beach and town but far enough to enjoy the quiet and relax!

Lovely stay, loved the cabin and its own private garden was perfect for our dogs.

Kevin’s piece of peace and tranquility was exactly as we expected and more! Utter peace and privacy, comfortable bed and AMAZING breakfast looking across fields towards the sea. We heard cuckoos, flocks of geese and we even saw a sea eagle fly over us while having a cuppa. We will particularly miss the gorgeous ducks and chickens and the ever so handsome Gerald the peacock ( our name for him). A wonderful night’s stay, Thankyou Kevin.

We had a lovely stay at Louise’s charming shepherd’s hut. It was cozy, clean, and well-equipped, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is fantastic - just a short walk to beautiful Avon Beach and literally couldn’t be closer to amenities. Louise was a welcoming and helpful host, making everything super easy. The hut is right next to a road, so if you’re a light sleeper, that might be something to consider - but otherwise, I couldn’t fault it. A perfect spot for a getaway with the sea close by!

Myself, my husband and our pup stayed in Sharon and Johns beautiful Shepard’s hut for 2 nights. It was equipped with everything you need, the space was cosy and comfortable and very clean. The outside area was beautiful and close to the forest and the beach. Thank you Sharon and John for your warm welcome and your helpful recommendations on the local area. Well! This was a complete and utter dream. It was the perfect getaway for those seeking a peaceful break in nature. You genuinely feel like you’re living in the woods and it’s amazing! The place was immaculate, perfectly located and the hosts were more than amazing. So friendly, helpful and made it the best break possible! Wee lexi the dog is also a total dream and was greeting me and my wee dog daily! Thank you so much. We will be back x

My partner and I enjoyed a splendid two-night stay at the Hideaway. The property was impeccably clean, and the hot tub was exceptional. We appreciated the tranquil and peaceful atmosphere. Annie provided outstanding service and ensured a warm welcome. We look forward to returning.

Kath was a responsive and fabulous host and the hut was everything we were hoping for. Would recommend the lamb sausages!

We had a lovely couple of nights at The Bothy! What a beautiful cottage and part of the New Forest! I have stayed in a few different parts and this was my favourite. I think I saw more donkeys than ever before which was a real treat as they are one of my favourite animals. Lots of other wildlife around too and some lovely pubs that did great food (and cocktails!) were in walking distance too, which was great. Chrissy goes that extra mile with some really nice touches inside the cottage, including a really beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers. The bed was very comfortable and you’re spoilt for choice with the hot tub and a beautiful roll top bath within. She is close by and very responsive with any queries too. I would highly recommend and will definitely return.

The place and surroundings are absolutely stunning. So peaceful and relaxing. You don’t even mind if the weather is not great or if it’s raining as you can just stay in the lodge and enjoy beautiful views and warm yourself up in the hot tub. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The local pub Woolpack is just a short walk and they serve delicious food. Sopley bakery and farm shop is a must. Would definitely recommend and come back.

Very pleasant cabin in a location close to some great walks. The kitchen was well-equipped (freezer compartment in fridge, which is always a bonus) and the private little garden so lovely it was a shame we didn't have the weather to sit outside. I slept on the sofa bed, which was very comfortable, and there was plenty of storage space for my stuff at the back of the bathroom. A couple of other things to note if you're not sharing the bedroom: the sofa was placed at a right angle to the TV to make the bathroom still accessible when the bed was pulled out. This meant that to watch the TV from the sofa, it was necessary to move the furniture around a bit. Not a massive deal, though. Also, the washbasin and mirror are in the bedroom, rather than the bathroom, but that's just a minor detail. All in all, a very nice little place to stay.
