This home is lovely. Every possible detail has been considered to make this feel like your own home. This is a great place to stay right across from Cedron Creek. You won’t be disappointed!!

This spot was great for hosting a get together. The pool table, the deck, lake access, and a big yard all added to the experience. There was also sufficient kitchen supplies for cooking and a great BBQ. The house was clean and easy to access.

Great place. We had a large group. Plenty of room for all of us.

great little place to stay that is well worth the noney

Very cozy home nestled in a lakes side community, there’s a boat ramp just within walking distance . The master bedroom has an impressive surprise of a huge tiled walk down in shower. As well as a door that goes straight to the screened in porch I found more than convenient. The parking is plentiful, my team had three vehicles and an enclosed trailer . No issues with space at all there was room for more . You could easily have three full truck and boat rigs parked here maybe 4 . Best part for me was the security on the property, it has cameras all around it which made me feel secure about being there and my possessions being safe outside . I use air bnb on a monthly basis and this is most definitely a property I will use again when in the area . The host is extremely helpful and friendly , I highly recommend if you’re in the area. We enjoyed our weekend at the Cabin in the Woods. It was very cozy and private. The surrounding trees are gorgeous and the weather was perfect for dining on the patio. All the furniture is very comfortable from the couch to the bed. Brandi was an excellent host!

The house was exactly as advertised and even better. Erika was always very friendly and nice throughout our stay. The house is located in a beautiful area with great nature views. We only ran into an issue with the heater not working during our stay, but Erika and her husband tried to resolve the issue. Other than that our stay was perfect, we hope that we can return.

We recently stayed at Gathering Oaks Retreat in Crawford, TX, for a couples weekend getaway, and it was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were embraced by the serene and peaceful surroundings. The retreat is beautifully maintained, and the outdoor games in the courtyard were a delightful addition to our stay. The property truly embodies a relaxing atmosphere. We spent our time taking nature walks, enjoying the fresh air, and simply reconnecting with each other. It felt like a blessing to be in such a tranquil setting, where we could pause and appreciate life's simple pleasures. The attention to detail in making our stay comfortable was evident, and the hostess was very helpful with the instructions for the facility. Whether you're looking for a peaceful escape or a chance to rekindle your relationship, Gathering Oaks Retreat is the perfect destination. We left feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and full of gratitude for the experience. Five stars all the way!!

My husband, daughter, son-in-law, and myself met there to go to a wedding at a nearby venue and stayed 2 nights. This was the perfect location since we were coming from east Texas and our daughter and son-in-law were coming from the Austin area. Beautiful views and very clean home. The pool was very enjoyable, too. Everything we needed was there. Would definitely recommend this place. We only had 4 people, but the home can accommodate plenty more. Thank you, Jessica. Due to extreme cold, the hot tub temp was not ideal. Jason gave me a credit back on the price which was appreciated.

It was just wonderful. It was so clean. I am a professional cleaner this place so spotless. It is not well. Provided for a very long Stay not many kitchen utensils the hot tub was nice and clean. The location was wonderful. We just went to check it out and just so happened. Our cabin was the first one clean so we got an early check in which was awesome. We will be returning and the one next to it.

Amazing set of dual villas adjacent to the beautiful Fossil Rim safari park! There are two bedrooms in each villa which make it the perfect set up for a large family gathering. We loved the pool and natural surroundings. Brandi was incredibly responsive and even helped arrange for our young kids to feed the animals on the ranch. I would highly recommend!!!

We loved our stay! It was so peaceful and beautiful! We saw so many butterflies and a few deer. We loved the walking paths that were available. We would love to stay again!!

This place was perfect for our Family Thanksgiving gathering. While I wish there would have been more seating (larger dining table) it still accommodated our crew. It has one bathroom but was plenty spacious. The kids play area was perfect for us to be able to spread out as well.

The stay was nice. Thought it was on the side of the road by the lake but that was my fault for not studying it hard enough. Kelli was very friendly and went out of there way to bring us a grill because the one that was supposed to be there was missing.

Susan was so kind. She gave all 3 of my children a peacock feather, provided breakfast for us to cook and really made us feel like family.

Nice. House fields like home

We had a great experience at Dwayne's place! This is the third time we've stayed and each time has been of the same high quality standard. The home is very easy to access with the host providing clear instructions for entry and use during our stay. It is located on a very pretty property. The home itself is new and clean, including comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. We are always appreciative of the thoughtful welcome package. Highly recommend this when you are visiting the Glen Rose/Hico/Stephenville areas.

We enjoyed our stay! Great location close enough to get to everything in a short drive but, far enough to be private and peaceful. There was ample space for the six of us and we enjoyed a wonderful evening outdoors grilling out and making s’mores around the fire pit!! We would stay here again.

We dubbed this the yellow house in 6! Beautifully kept home furnished with antiques you want to spend the morning enjoying your coffee and browsing! Home is beautiful, easy to access and very well equipped. The extras Grace provided during our stay were unexpected and we felt right at home! Highly recommend!!!
