Richard was a fantastic host for our Easter family holiday. Beautiful cottage, stunning surroundings and immaculate, one of the best AirBnB places we’ve stayed and would highly recommend to anyone looking for an escape to the country. Local pub was fab and very friendly for our 6 year old.

Arglam Farm, what a find! Sally and Andrea have a super self catering accommodation. Absolutely spotless, perfectly presented. A fabulous view, ample parking. Thoughtful additions to help your trip go well. Dog friendly, kid friendly. We attended a family wedding at Everingham Park and this house was a fabulous base for our family to relax and get ready for the wedding. Market Weighton for last minute essentials and a trip to fabulous Beverly. We must stay longer next time in this fantastic corner of Yorkshire.

Had a beautiful few days away here. The cottage is set in beautiful countryside, it has everything you need for a comfortable stay and the host was very accommodating.

Amazing host who went above and beyond by decorating the place with happy birthday banners and balloons for my Mums stay for her 60th birthday. The place has so much character and is in such a perfect location

Fantastic house in beautiful surroundings - we were a group of 11 and the house was so well equipped with everything we needed. The online guidebook provided in advance was very thorough and helpful with recommendations for the local area and information on the house amenities. Would definitely stay again with a group and would recommend to anyone!

Tom’s place was great! Really. cosy, very clean and comfortable. The beds and bedding were divine. Tom was on hand to help with any queries. His lace actually was better than it appears in the photos! Highly recommend staying here!

Fantastic hosts around whenever you need but also very discreet. Beautifully finished and has everything you could ever think of needing. Plenty of hot water and the shower was lovely. Very warm and cosy. Very grateful for the milk, butter, bread etc to get us started. The bed is worth a special mention - I have a sore back and shoulders and it was not only huge but incredibly comfortable. We took 2 chaotic dogs with us and very grateful for the paddock to let them free run. There is a lovely guest recreation space - photos don’t do it justice. Other properties there but each one private and you would never know it. Definitely be back for a holiday to relax and a chance to enjoy the lovely garden. Cannot recommend highly enough. Thankyou!

Absolutely loved our stay at Richard's barn. it was spacious, clean and well equipped with everything you could need. Richard came over to greet us, and was very smiley and friendly, he checked we had what we needed, and gave great advice about places to go walking nearby. The fenced in private area with the hot tub, BBQ and firepit was a godsend with my cockapoo Albert. He loved sniffing around and exploring whilst we relaxed in the hot tub. The views are breathtaking, and it's very silent. Overall a perfect location and host, we will definitely be back soon!

Lovely property in an absolutely beautiful location. Owners were friendly and helpful, and made a fantastic pub recommendation! Seeing all the farm animals was also great. This was exactly the peaceful getaway that we needed, and we certainly hope to come again.

We had a delightful stay at this charming stone cottage which was perfect for two adults — cosy, beautifully finished, and well laid out. Giles was excellent throughout, with prompt and helpful communication. The attention to detail did not go unnoticed: top-quality fixtures, a lovely private garden for morning tea among fresh herbs, and views over a peaceful pasture with sheep and lambs. The nearby village of Wray was equally charming. Highlights include the quality of construction, the serene location, thoughtful layout, and easy access to stunning countryside. A wonderful stay — highly recommended.

I stayed in flora at the garden rooms, it was an easy quick check in and was given a friendly welcome and informative instructions on the use of the log burner hot tub, its in a scenic spot and I had a great time, we were greeted with a welcome basket with snacks and a bottle of Prosecco, not many places go down to little details like this, absolutely perfect stay.

Wow, what a place! 10/10 for everything! The location was amazing, beautiful views and the only neighbours were the cute sheep! A perfect place to escape, switch off and enjoy nature. The hut had everything you needed and was in the best location for walks. Would recommend to anyone! Can’t wait to come back. Catherine was a lovely host and made everything perfect for us. 2nd time I have stayed here, it is absolutely breathtaking each time. It was a little challenging with the weather being so nice, the cabin does get quite hot. Could probably benefit from an AC unit or something to allow guests to be more comfortable, in hot temperatures. Otherwise it is absolutely stunning and the hosts cater for your every need

We loved our stay it was very quiet and peaceful, and very private which was ideal as we has baby with us so felt like we were able to enjoy our first family trip without disturbing the owners or other people on the farm. A lovely weekend away!

Wow wow wow, what an amazing place to stay. Stunning house, stunning location. The attention to detail was fantastic, Philippa and Andrew were so approachable, friendly and helpful and they helped to make our stay comfortable. The house was spotless and full of everything we needed. Our children are already asking how soon we can come and visit again. The hot tub was ready for our arrival and the view were gorgeous, what a gem of a find. Very much looking forward to returning to Yoredale House, Thankyou for having us!

From the moment we arrived we were so pleased we found this gem. Alyson greeted us on arrival, had laid out afternoon tea and left a treat bag for the dogs (with a personalised note). Above and beyond welcome! The cottage is beautiful, if anything the pictures don't do it justice. The gardens are stunning, it's really private and yet Alyson is right there when needed (she rescued our meal with the missing ingredients we'd forgotten!) Getting out and about is really easy and the village of Hawes has all you need. So many fabulous walks in several directions and views to take your breath away! Local pubs, tea rooms, chippie (worth the queue) and shops all great! The cottage has everything you need; comfortable, huge bed, plenty of storage The kitchen has all the amenities and utensils. The living room is cosy yet spacious. We'll need to visit again in the winter too make use of the log burner. We, including the dogs, had a fabulous time and would highly recommend this cottage.

We had such a fantastic stay at Silk Weavers. House is beautifully designed and well-equipped. The location is stunning - fantastic walks straight from the house and stunning views. The garden is well-fenced-in for the dog but with lots of space for him to roam. We went in lambing season and our toddler spent the whole time watching the lambs. It was truly idyllic.

Wow! Had the most incredible couple of nights in the cottage whilst attending a friends Wedding at Danby Castle. Perfect location for this! The cottage had everything you could think of, including thoughtful treats waiting for us when we arrived. It was spotless, extremely well furnished & equipped. Plus more! The layout of the cottage is fantastic & it's so spacious. The surroundings are absolutely stunning. Fabulous sized private rear garden is beautiful. We loved waking up to the sounds of the chickens, Peacocks, sheep & being greeted each day by the family dogs & cats who were so friendly & well behaved. Trevor & Teresa went above & beyond for us & were just lovely, friendly & approachable. Was sad to leave such a beautiful place. 5 stars & more, without a doubt!! The best air B&B I've seen. I loved The Loft, it was just perfect. The house was beautifully decorated and had everything you could want or need, lots of lovely little touches made it really special. The view from the decking and the hot tub was spectacular and we spent many mornings and evenings just enjoying the peace and the surrounding views. I would definitely book again.

What a great place to stay! I booked Lynda and Fraser's place for a group celebration with friends and it was the perfect place. The kitchen has everything you need to cook for groups, so many plates, glasses and wine glasses. The dinning table is really big, and we used that a lot. There are three big comfy sofas, perfect for socialising and having a chill. The bedrooms were great, the bunk beds were comfy and again lots of space, with nice views from the windows. There is also a lovely large outdoor table to the side of the property, with a cover over it where we had breakfast. Communication prior to the stay was fantastic. Lynda and Fraser responded to all my questions really quickly and they kindly recommended some walks and pub lunches. The property is in the middle of nowhere, so it is a great place to get away from everything and just relax. The countryside is truly beautiful and great for walks. Would 100% recommend. Stayed here during early May and it was absolutely lovely! Wonderful views in every direction and more local walks than you can possibly do in a weekend! Simon was also lovely and happily offered to get the bbq out if requested. If you enjoy nice walks and great scenery this place is a no brainer + the old farmhouse aesthetic of the building is beautiful, cannot recommend enough!
