We had great time, everything was like expected.

It is a home, not another place set up for visitors. Its warm, inviting, beautiful and perfect location. We will return, if not many more times in the future.

Our family had a great time! Our host was very responsive and attentive, we felt taken care of and at home in this location. Our kids did not want to leave this beautiful home, we would love to come back again in warmer weather.

Beautiful location, very peaceful and quite. The house is a quirky old cottage and has a lot of character, but if you want something brand new and polished it’s probably not for you. It’s bigger than the pictures suggest, however beds are on the small side and tight for two people. We enjoyed our stay a lot though and Wendy was a very responsive host with lots of good suggestions.

Can’t say enough about the location and for every bedroom to have an ocean view is spectacular. Even packing up to go, while enjoying the view, was not laborious. Will definitely want to return. Kitchen was well-stocked. Gino was a great at communicating.

My stay was very comfortable. The property was well kept and updated. The beds and furniture were were in perfect condition. Both the house and the grounds were exceptionally clean and well maintained. I would visit again!

Rachel’s place was perfect. Being new to the island, I had lots of questions during my planning to take my family to Matinicus for a week and Rachel responded quickly and kindly each time. She even bought a new and improved blender for us in case the other two in the kitchen weren’t quite right. The house suited us to a tea. Comfortable and peaceful. The perfect place for my family to reconnect after being spread out during a busy summer. But here is the best example of Rachel’s kindness: We forgot our car key in the house and only realized once we were on the boat back. We called Rachel from Rockland make sure the key was still in the house. She quickly found it and ran it to the mail plane who was able to get it us a few hours later. It was amazing.

This is what an airbnb should be. We’ve rented many bnbs over the years and Christine’s place felt like home. The surroundings are beautiful, and the house is charming, exceptionally clean and welcoming. Yarmouth is a great town as well, just a stones throw from Portland and the coast. We really couldn’t have asked for a better host or place to stay to enjoy the beauty of Maine :)

The feeling of being on this beautiful estate is amazing. We felt like the Duke and Dutchess of Bristol. The grounds are beautifully manicured and invite strolls through the orchard, down scenic walking paths, and down to the large pond for a swim or glorious paddle on the provided canoes and kayaks. Timothy is thoroughly delightful, warm and charming. It felt like we were staying on the estate of a treasured old friend. We look forward to returning again and again.

We enjoyed staying with Trudy and Michael! Very responsive to all my questions/requests. It was a unique experience in the treehouse that met all of our needs! We looked forward to the homemade muffins and fresh fruit every morning! Easy walk to the footbridge and all the attractions/restaurants/shops. Definitely recommend to those looking for a quiet place that is close to the harbor!

We were 2 couples staying for a week. Rooms were spacious and had several comfortable lounging areas. The bedding was clean and looked like new. Ralph is a fantastic cook and had homemade breakfast items most mornings. I highly recommend!!

After an extremely busy and somewhat stressful day of searching for real estate arriving at Kathryn's Airbnb was somewhat of an oasis. We couldn't be exactly sure of our arrival time but Kathryn was flexible and very helpful with local dinner suggestions. The space was perfect for us: comfortable, peaceful, with everything we needed including breakfast makings. Thank you Kathryn, we would definitely stay there again.

We had a great time at Joan’s cozy condo! She made freshly baked goodies upon our arrival, it was delicious! 2 min away from the beach! The location can’t be beat. The only downside was the train, very close to the house, that passes roughly every three hours during week days. If you don’t mind the nose, the place is perfect for a small family, friends and couples. It had different board games, beach toys for kids, foldable beach chairs etc. Overall great place! The unit was very clean and had all the kitchen appliances we needed. The beds including mattresses and linens were very comfortable and plenty of blankets were available. Location was great to visit the sights in Bath. We'd definitely stay here again.

This was the most beautiful, relaxing and clean Airbnb. Our stay was absolutely perfect and it had much to do with this space. Emma the host was kind and very helpful. Will definitely return and would recommend this stunning place to anyone!!

We loved our stay here! First of all, Stonington is so charming. Secondly, everything about this bed and breakfast was exceptional. We stayed only one night on our way to isle au haut. But we felt welcome right off bat. Our check in was flexible. We slept comfortably. The room was small but it was perfect for resting our heads for the night. Bathroom was clean and well equipped. The next morning before we left - great coffee was laid out promptly at 630, which we got to enjoy along with a beautiful view of the harbor. Good conversation with others staying at the b&b – then came yogurt, granola, fresh baked bread and muffins, and an amazing omelet with all the freshest ingredients. If we are ever out this way this will be our first choice to stay. All of our thanks to our lovely hosts!!

Christine was a lovely host. We felt very welcome and she engaged with our dogs in a sweet fashion. Even though we were in her house we felt quite separate with space to come and go without disruption.

Leslie’s Airbnb was ideal for my evening stay. Everything was super clean, and the surroundings were so peaceful and gorgeous. It’s two steps from a pond and the ocean. Definitely check this out if you’re in the area

This is the second time I've stayed with Marsha and Steve and I never wanted to leave! Their home is beautiful and welcoming, as is the island. Can't wait to come back :)

This was our first time staying at the Candlebay Inn and we definitely will be back. Connie was so wonderful and sweet, greeted us at the door—gave us a brief tour and local recommendations. The Daisy Room was super cozy, very clean and quiet. In the morning, home cooked breakfast was delicious, Connie was nice enough to tell us about the backstory of the inn which we really enjoyed. 10/10 recommend!!

Had a wonderful time at Daniel’s Airbnb! We were greeted with a warm reception and delicious apple cake with delicious sweet tea! I can’t say enough good things about Daniel and his beautiful home. We felt right at home. He gave us great recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area. Our accommodations were very comfortable. Best part was the delicious breakfast with coffee and tea and scrumptious omelette with homemade hash browns! I wanted the recipe! I highly recommend Daniel’s place, it made our vacation a little more special! PS: Reds Eats in Wiscasset Maine was the best ( Paul Newman and Robert Redford ate there too) Thanks for the recommendation!!

Dr. Jerr is a very kind and generous host - he provided us with fresh coffee and breakfast snacks each morning during our stay. We loved the location on Cape Elizabeth, close to Portland, and to many beautiful coastal and woodland trail walks. We came home laden with fish, flash frozen from the fish markets in Portland - thank you Dr. Jerr for your recommendation. We would wholeheartedly recommend staying with Dr. Jerr for exploring the stunning Maine coast and hope to find ourselves back on Cape Elizabeth again next year. Tom & Gillian Hamilton

The sweetest host with a cute and cozy place! It was very clean and had everything we needed for our short stay there. The small fridge with breakfast snacks was also a huge plus. Would definitely come back!
