Amazing place, amazing hosts. Been staying at Merrijig for many years and this is one of the best homes we’ve stayed in. Kind hosts with complementary food and drinks that were left for us at check-in. Very strongly recommend.

We had a lovely relaxing stay at Fiona & Lar’s Merlewood. Our accommodation was spotless, & very cosy. The roomy cottage was surrounded by beautiful peaceful Australian countryside. Bed was incredibly comfortable and large. Nights were spent cooking a meal, followed by a spa one night, and movie. Mornings were enjoyed taking in the beautiful sun filled view from every room after opening the blinds. Followed by a walk up the back hill, a sit on the deck, a sight seeing by car to Alexandra for lunch at the large cafe there, and enjoyed hiring a kayak at Jerusalem Creek to paddle around Eildon weir. Another day we drove to Yarck and purchased some essential oiled natural skin products at DINDI. There was also Op shop visits in Alexandra & Yea where we found a couple of bargains. This is the perfect place for a couple to unwind, & take in the scenery & tranquility, and use as a base to explore the region. Thanks Fiona & Lars making this lovely stay possible.

We loved staying at Snow Gum Creek. It was quiet and picturesque and we enjoyed the wildlife visiting close by including kangaroos, king parrots and other birdlife, deer. There was easy access to the local creek and walks. Nic and Stef provided a very thoughtful suggested itinery for potential activities and eating places in the area. They were very responsive and helpful when we contacted them.

We had a wonderful stay, very cozy space, perfect for 2. Spa was an added bonus and beautiful views from the garden. Close to town and beautiful surroundings. Lauren was lovely and very accommodating and friendly. Would definitely recommend and would love to return one day!

The house was really cozy and we had plenty of of room for everyone. The property was beautiful great for a break from the city to connect with nature. The host was great and they accomodated for changes on the amount of people. Overall great experience

Beautiful location that we and our dog loved. So peaceful and relaxing - the perfect way to escape the city for a couple of days. And the cottage itself was super cute but had everything we needed.

Sam and Liz were lovely hosts, always responsive to checking in/out and any questions throughout our stay! Beautiful, spacious and peaceful property which we explored all hours of the day! Highly recommend when staying in Kinglake!

Great place to stay with very friendly hosts who are happy to spend time with guests and show the kids the farm animals, which was a great highlight for them.

My partner and I stayed at Melinda's place for a wedding in Mansfield, and her place was the perfect place for us. It was so cosy, warm and beautifully decorated. Melinda was easy to communicate with, and she even had the heater on for us before we got there as well as a lovely handwritten note and food in the fridge. Such a lovely stay and we felt right at home.

Our large extended family (5 adults, 3 children and one dog) had a wonderful stay at Rosedale. It was absolutely perfect for our needs and was warm and cosy with many thoughtful touches. The gardens are beautiful and the setting perfect, just a short cycle ride from Mansfield and a perfect to end our family trip along the Great Victorian Rail Trail.

Our stay at Moyhu was lovely, Juliana is an amazing host and nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation itself is beautiful, comfy bed, gorgeous styling and we fell in love with the feature tiles! It was very tastefully decorated and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Our pup was welcomed as much as we were, and she loved watching (and barking at!) the neighbouring cows. We highly recommend staying here with Jules, and we'll definitely stay again!

Wonderful stay. Really peaceful with panoramic views of the landscape. Very calming with no wi-fi overload. Heartwarming sounds from the horses in the neighbouring paddock. Everything we needed for our stay whilst attending a wedding in Yea.

Jan was a fantastic host! She greeted us with a warm welcome and some helpful instructions. We also admired her lovely garden with a lovely variety of produces. The cabin itself was perfect for the four of us. All appliances in the kitchen worked perfectly which made cooking every night that much easier. Our beds were also one of the most comfortable ones among all the Airbnb stays we had. The unobstructed view of the meadow outside our cabin was simply gorgeous. Seeing all kinds of animals like cows, kangaroos and horses up close were the highlight for us city folks. Overall we can’t fault our stay and will recommend to anyone who loves a change of scene and a quiet and peaceful stay.

This stay truly exceeded our expectations. The peaceful countryside life here is absolutely enchanting. Carl and Donna gave us such a warm welcome — they provided clear guidance and were kind enough to chat with us and share the local history of Jamieson, which we found really fascinating. The cottage was clean, cozy, and full of charm, with a lovely backyard to relax or play in. You can really tell they put heart and care into what they do. If only we could give more than five stars — it truly deserves more. And the autumn scenery here… absolutely breathtaking. Thank you for giving us a glimpse of such an inspiring lifestyle

We loved out stay at Eileen's place, it was extremely spacious for 6 adult guests and we loved the back yard and deck which is where we spent most of our time. It was an extremely hot weather weekend and with no ceiling fans we did find the bedrooms quite warm and stuffy with no air flow; there was one pedestal fan in the main bedroom but it was very noisy on high, knowing the weather was going to be hot we did take one of our own. The air conditioning in the dining and kitchen area however was a godsend. We were looking forward to using the bbq for breakfast but it did not have a solid grill plate so we just cooked the eggs and bacon inside in the frypan. The location is fabulous, a very close walk to the main shopping area and the hotels where we were able to walk for dinner and lunch. Also close to the parks and river for swimming. We were in Euroa for a wedding just out of town so this was perfect accommodation for us. Would definitely stay here again. Comms with Eileen was 🙌

Eden Park is a beautiful peaceful getaway. Extraordinary clean home, comfortable, beautiful surrounds with such great hosts in Clay and Vicki. Wonderful cosy little private cabin for family of four with enough amenities to cook. Will definitely stay here again when we're headed to Mt. Buller.

We had the best time at Namparra Leigh. Such a beautiful setting and so much fun for my young kids and dog. Pool was a bonus as it was a hot weekend! Loved heading up the rocks and getting a visit from Sookie the gorgeous black cow. Marj the host was so lovely and accomodating. Absolutely perfect little weekend escape.

We had a truly wonderful one-night stay at this peaceful farm cottage. Even though it was a short visit, it gave us the perfect break to unwind and reconnect with nature. The cottage was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed. We especially loved spending the evening by the outdoor firepit, it was such a beautiful spot to relax, and we were lucky to share it with Max, the sweetest dog. He’s such a gentle soul and he made us smile every time we saw him. We also enjoyed a lovely walk through the paddocks and got to meet some of the animals. Tab, the host, has clearly put a lot of care into creating a space that feels both comfortable and inviting. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, and it really made the cottage feel like a home away from home. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, heartwarming escape even just for a night!

Narelle was incredibly easy to contact and responded quickly, making the booking process seamless. The house itself was amazing spacious, clean, and well equipped. The highlight was definitely the beautiful farm setting, with cows and chickens roaming freely. Sitting at the dining table while watching the cows walk past was such a peaceful and unique experience. The rooms and bathroom were generously sized, offering plenty of comfort, and the pool was a fantastic addition for relaxation. The entire stay was truly enjoyable, and we felt so connected to nature. We will definitely be booking again. Thank you Narelle once again.

The accommodation was beautiful - bed was a dream to sleep in, and we had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend away. The space well-equipped and surrounded by nature at its finest. The views overlooking the Cathedral Ranges are absolutely breathtaking — especially at sunset. This spot is a stone’s throw from the Cathedral Ranges State Park, making it the perfect please adventurers looking to hike or explore the surrounding region. The highlight of our stay was Izzy, the gorgeous and well-mannered Labrador, who happily joined us on walks and was the perfect companion for a drink on the deck. From the moment we were greeted by our host, in such a kind and welcoming way, we knew this place was special. Linda had arranged for the wood fire in the lounge area to be lit so it was toasty and warm upon arrival, adding to the ambience of an already stunning property. We were the first of our party to arrive, and it was a privilege to witness how amazed each of the following groups were with the location and the home, with each person expressing how lucky we were to find it. Outside, the kids ran free among the gardens, swimming in the pool and riding their bikes. Inside, the cinema was a winner, as were the games and puzzles in the library. The kitchen has more than any chef could ask for, and the bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. Small touches like the local Dindi soaps were appreciated in the bathrooms. The guest book contains a wealth of information, and the property walking maps were fantastic. Immaculately clean and well presented, definitely 5 stars.
