A dream come true. The whole staff is welcoming and invites you into their home. They make you feel safe and the room is impeccable. The water is amazing and you could see the fish through the floor. Our dock was boss….. They Intentionally stocked fridges with all kinds of drinks and the breakfast was delicious. Storing our bags and using the coming space when our flight was delayed came in clutch. The location is pretty ideal with both transplants and local community living together so you can see the neighborhood they are intentionally creating. They are amazing we will never forget them and are coming back. Oh and they beautifully did our laundry, folded everything, even dropped it at our door like what gems. They helped us in a tricky situation as a tourist and came up with creative solution. They go above and beyond as host and will recommending 1000 por cento!!!

Le logement est splendide, parfaitement propre et décoré avec goût. Le cadre est tout simplement magique : au bord de l’eau, au calme, à l’écart de la route, tout en étant à deux pas des commerces et du centre. Les instructions d’arrivée sont claires et précises, ce qui facilite vraiment l’arrivée. Sophie est une hôte exemplaire, toujours réactive, disponible, et d’une grande gentillesse. Elle nous a donné d’excellents conseils sur les endroits où manger et a répondu à toutes nos questions. C’est une adresse que nous recommandons les yeux fermés !

Like every other review this place is incredible. We didn’t want to leave! Our tips would be - take more cash than you think you’ll need and a little more food than you think you’ll need. 😆 we ate at the restaurant one evening which was lovely and their chef is amazing but otherwise it was easy to fend for ourselves in the incredible setting. Touring the community is amazing (take your bug spray!) and the other outings were equally as memorable. We also toured the cacao farm in Dolphin Bay which was great! We were there with our twin boys who are 7 and not a moment of boredom! The house kitty was adorable and the boys named her Tinta (Valimir said she didn’t have a name yet so was happy she got one 😆) The boys are ready to go back!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Die Lage und die Unterkunft an sich waren wirklich top. Die Gastgeberin war super freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen und können die Unterkunft definitiv weiterempfehlen.

Fantastische plek, de zee is je achtertuin. Apen, volgels, eekhoorns en op de golven voorbij komende surfers. Geweldig huis, minimalistisch maar heel leuk mit diverse hangplekken. Hou er wel rekening mee dat het warm kan zijn in het huis en dat er insecten makkelijk binnen kunnen komen....maar daar staat iets geweldigs tegenover.

Jack and Vanessa were super responsive, friendly and helpful with anything we needed. The property is so beautiful! half on the beach and half in mid jungle, and really private and quiet. The house is nice, and my husband really enjoyed the little home gym:)

A beautiful place to hide out from the world for a while. While only a short walk from Old Bank and close to lots of other houses, the cottage felt very private. Wonderful sea breezes, beautiful view and tropical gardens, falling asleep to the sound of the waves every night was such a treat. We loved the little beach and swimming hole just out front. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen well-equipped. Tons of fans everywhere. Nina and Nesto were super responsive to any questions or requests that we had. A great stay!

J’ai passé un superbe séjour!!! Miriam a été très accueillante et gentille!!!😊Elle a pris le temps de me suggérer des activités du coin et était très disponible. La Cabana était très bien équipé et très propre, la piscine aussi et le lit très confortable!!La vue arrière est belle sur la jungle , il y a même des hawling monkeys qui sont venus faire leur spectacle juste devant la galerie! Wow! On entend un peu les voitures passer sur le chemin à coté mais l’endroit est quand même tranquille avec des beaux sons de la jungle. La Cabana est un peu plus loin de la ville ( ce qui fait partie de son charme aussi) c’est une belle longue marche à faire avec un bout à marcher sur le bord de la mer. 2 vélos électriques sont disponibles à louer sur place directement à la Cabana , aussi il y a plusieurs taxis, bus, location de scooter VTT etc comme moyen de transport! Il y a pleins de possibilités😊Bref je recommande cet endroit et MERCI encore Miriam pour tout! J’ai adoré mon séjour ♥️

This is the place! I stayed here during 2024 for several months running my business entirely on Vidans Starlink, enoying a fully offgrid luxury gem built with mediterranean style. All interior is high quality, the kitchen is more than spacious and invites for hangouts after a day snorkelling around the properties private beach. There is nothing to miss here and Rubiel the housekeeper living close by will occasionally get you fresh Lagostas right out of the reef or Bananas from the jungle. You can also ask Rubiel to take you snorkelling out to Bird island with his boat. The house comes with plenty of privacy and an abundance of jungle around you. parrots, monkeys and dolphins pass by and the bench on the shore facing Costa Ricas mountains allows for stunning views into sunset. If you dont't have a car, a taxi connects well into Bocas town for 25 bucks and there is local bus within 15min walk. 6 out of 5 stars and I will be back later this year for an extended stay with friends.

Großartige Unterkunft in toller Lage! Etwas schwierig erreichbar, wenn man mit eigenem Auto unterwegs ist. Mit dem Van mussten wir gerade auf den letzten Metern etwas vorsichtig fahren, um nicht aufzusetzen. Das wird aber mit einer großartigen Umgebung und einer tollen Unterkunft belohnt. Wir haben viele Tiere in der direkten Umgebung gesehen: Faultiere, verschiedene Affen, Kolibris, Papageien, Pfeilgiftfrösche, sogar eine Rainbow Boa(!), Lederschildkröten die am Strand ihre Eier ablegten (Anfang April), ein wildes, warmes Meer, dass mit etwas Vorsicht und etwas Kenntnis von Strömungen doch ganz gut zu handeln war in unserer Zeit - Schwimmen unmöglich, bisschen in den Wellen toben ging gut für Erwachsene, während die Kinder in den Bachmündungen spielten, tolle Ausflüge zur Isla Zapatilla und an den Starfish Beach (im April ist überall sehr wenig los), großes Glück mit dem Wetter. Wenn wir wieder nach Panama gehen, werden wir wieder hierher zurück kommen. Danke!

We really enjoyed Ron's place. Everyone there was extremely helpful. The property manager, Augusto was extremely helpful in setting up anything we wanted to do. Breakfast was prepared for us by Augusto's wife each morning, and she is a great cook. The pictures do not do the property justice. It is spacious and spotless. Each day while we were out seeing the island, the house was cleaned and our laundry was done for us. The pool is perfect. Bluff beach is by far the prettiest beach on the island, there is no need to go anywhere else if you just want to lounge on the beach. There are local restaurants within walking distance. Be advised, you will need to take taxis to other attractions on the island. Roundtrip taxi to and from town is around $45-$50. That said, I will gladly pay the taxi fee to stay at a place outside all the noise of Bocas Town, especially one as nice as this one. If you are looking for peace and quiet, and a beach all to yourself, this is the place to stay.

Adoramos a nossa estadia na casa de Augusto. As fotos correspondem com o que encontramos na casa. É uma casa muito espaçosa e confortável. Único ponto de atenção foi que não estava funcionando a agua quente para o banho. Acredito que ele irá arrumar em breve.

Olivia’s place is as amazing as she is! She was so helpful, friendly and very responsive. The house is perfect for viewing wildlife - we saw sloths every day in the trees in the yard! Walkable to many places to eat and explore or relax at the beach. The house is off grid so we had power and hot water even when our friends nearby didn’t. Great WiFi, fully stocked kitchen. We even enjoyed refilling the hummingbird feeder on the porch to watch them constantly come and go! Helpful info: It’s about a $20ish taxi to get to town depending on number of people from the house or you can take a little bus that leaves from Bom Bom.

Lina fue una anfitrión espectacular, no perdió detalle en ayudarnos con cualquier consulta realizada, respondía de inmediato y estuvo atenta a todas nuestras necesidades. Con respecto al lugar es igual a las fotografías, amplio, limpio, ordenado, tenía lo necesario para unas vacaciones explorando la zona, las piscina tiene el tamaño idóneo para el lugar. Volvería de nuevo sin pensarlo dos veces !!!!

El lugar es maravilloso. Hay un arrecife de coral justo en frente de la villa y kayak y tabla de padel surf para disfrutar del agua cristalina. Philip respondió muy rápido y nos ayudó en todo momento.

We had a great stay at Jairo‘s place in Bastimientos. The house is located on a hill above the main town. The way up can be a bit muddy when it rains. The accomodation was really good and had a balcony with a beautiful view into the green garden. The house was clean and comfortable. The island Bastimientos was a good choice as it was really calm and you can walk to a very nice beach 15 mins away.

What a wonderful place to stay! The house is clean, comfortable, and stocked with all that you need. Zuleika went above and beyond to make sure our trip was perfect!

From the moment we arrived, this home swept us off our feet! This place is truly magical. Handcrafted from local sources (timber, coconuts, shells, stone), every detail reflects respect for the environment. The house is cozy, peaceful, & rustic, w/a funky edge. My favorite area was the patio, which opened up to the rainforest, teeming w/birds & flowers. I loved watching monkeys in the trees & listening to the waves. Next to the home is the owners' incredible restaurant, Arboloco, a local favorite. The restaurant has a chill jungle vibe (delicious Afro-Caribbean food) & is open Wed-Sat. Despite the nearby dining, privacy was never an issue. The path to our Airbnb was clearly separated, maintaining a secluded experience. The location is serene & is a 10-minute drive from Bocas Town. This Airbnb isn’t just a place to stay; it’s an experience… an artistic retreat. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect blend of nature, privacy, & local culture.

Tuve una estancia increíble en esta casa con vista impresionante, ubicada en un vecindario tranquilo y seguro. A tan solo 10-15 minutos de la playa, pude disfrutar de excursiones y pesca con Dan, quien fue un excelente guía. Además, el tour a Zapatillas fue una experiencia única. Recomiendo el restaurante Mamis, donde probé una deliciosa hamburguesa vegetariana. Justo al lado, la tienda tiene todo lo necesario para comprar lo que necesites. La hospitalidad de JJ fue excepcional, siempre disponible para ayudar y con excelentes recomendaciones sobre la zona. La casa tiene todo lo necesario para disfrutar de una estancia relajante, ya sea en solitario o en familia. Desde la terraza, la vista es perfecta para meditar y conectarse con la naturaleza. El vecindario es amigable, con personas cálidas y un ambiente tranquilo, ideal para disfrutar de su tiempo libre con total seguridad. Sin duda, recomendaría este lugar y planeo volver en el futuro. ¡Una experiencia única y memorable.

We just want to say a huge thank you to Lorenna and her wonderful family. We felt so welcome, and honestly we didn't want to leave. Lorenna was so helpful, giving us taxi numbers, and ideas of where to visit etc. Their house is cosy, well equipped, peaceful, cool and charming. For us we wouldn’t have wanted to stay anywhere else on the island. Bluff beach is a little bit further out but trust me, it’s worth it. Best beach on the island in my opinion. And it’s right on your doorstep.

Das Haus mit der grossen Veranda ist gigantisch und nur zu empfehlen. Wir waren 7 Nächte da. Für uns als 4-köpfige Familie war das das schönste und bestausgerüstete Haus währen unserer gesamten 8- wöchigen Reise in Costa Rica und Panama. Die Dschungelgeräusche (vor allem die Brüllaffen) sind am Morgen sehr eindrücklich. Ich hatte Angst, dass es ohne AC sehr heiss wird. Das war aber wirklich nicht der Fall. Nicole ist eine sehr gute Gastgeberin - immer da, wenn man sie braucht. Wir hatten ein eigenes Auto, das war etwas angenehmer, weil es schon ziemlich weit draussen ist - das ist aber genau das tolle am Haus.

La casa de Sandra fue perfecta y tranquila, con un jardín precioso y privado, y ubicado justo en el centro de la isla. Sandra fue muy amable y comunicativa. Muy recomendable! ☺️
