This unique place has a style all its own. Apart of a larger mixed use building complex this old schoolhouse has been converted into residential apartments. In 1877, African-American local architect/brick manufacturer Plimpton Ross Berry built the building. The building served as a city school for 65 years before being sold to the Hungarian Presbyterian Chuch that operated it as a recreational center until 2008. It is also located very close to Mill Creek Park’s walking, and biking trails. It’s in a very nice, peaceful neighborhood. An air purifier is also in the apartment to keep the air extra clean and healthy inside for all guests. There is no cable TV, but the TV has capability to stream through YouTube, Netflix, etc.
