Beasley Backwater Retreat on Lovely Lake Eufaula

The Beasley Backwater Retreat is located on beautiful Lake Eufaula, between the historic towns of Abbeville and Eufaula. The house, built as a vacation house by my grandparents in 1963, is pretty much vintage, with some more modern conveniences, such as microwave, dishwasher, HVAC, internet access, and a Keurig. Located on a peaceful area of the lake, with a private dock and nice neighbors, it's a great place to get away from town and create fond memories--it certainly has been for us! Enjoy!

The kitchen is stocked with beautiful stainless steel appliances and fixtures. The sitting areas and bathroom are trimmed with details that have been carefully chosen to fit the vision of our farm. Guests who stay here will enjoy complete privacy in our beautiful little home. It is sandwiched between two horse pastures and steps away from our tranquil pond.

Also, the cottage is only a few miles from the Florida line and the Georgia line if you’re going there for something fun! WiFi is fast so working from the cottage is easy as well!

A Cool Change is conveniently located to Sandy Branch City Park where you can enjoy your day swimming in the lake, fishing, relaxing on the beach and grilling out.

Each of our four one-bedroom cabins is nestled privately in a 32-acre longleaf pine forest. All cabins include a screened-in porch with rocking chairs, perfect for enjoying an early morning or a late evening in fresh air. We are pet friendly, but please be aware that there is a $75 Pet Fee for the first pet, with an additional $25/pet after.

Relax on the front porch 3 blocks from the town square and directly across from the new development by the hospital authority. Very quite even during the weekday buzz. Space designed for gatherings and friends.
