We have a private, self-contained Ground Floor Unit under our home in the quiet, leafy suburb of Mundingburra in Townsville, North Queensland. The Unit is on the ground floor of our home with a shared secure entrance, a heated pool with a deck and on-site parking. We are a short walk to nearby Sheriff Park and river walkways The Unit is a 15 min drive to most places in Townsville with bus services available nearby. We have free NBN Wifi. We are pet friendly with a small charge per stay.

Our Granny Flat is a tranquil space, set high up in the palm trees overlooking our pool. Lorikeets and butterflies cruise by and you'll hear the occasional train toot. Railway Estate is a lovely suburb that's walking distance to the QCB Stadium, less than 10 min drive to the city and extremely popular Strand area and restaurants. The entire Granny Flat is yours with private access, kitchen and living area, separate bedroom with queen sized bed and ensuite with rain shower and washing machine.

The Footbridge Garden Studio

The Footbridge is a one bedroom studio on the doorstep of beautiful Horseshoe Bay. Adult guests, whether your a single or couple , will enjoy a private courtyard and own pool. A queen size bed with attached en suite. Not suitable for infants and children. A brief walk ,160 steps, to great cafes, restaurants, beach, and bush walks. Enjoy beautiful beach side sunsets and the magic of the famous Magnetic island Butterfly park at your back door The Footbridge studio is the perfect getaway.

A separate, full kitchen, allows budget friendly meals easy. Approximately 3 min walk to Riverway swimming pools, also with BBQs, a library, cafe and art gallery.

Plenty of room for trailers or caravans. 75meters from the main residence, and sharing a 20 acre property and garden with a border collie, wallabies, blue winged kookaburras, chooks, bees, cows and our family. Join Jess for Friday and Saturday morning yoga and coffee if you wish on the other side of the rainforest garden.
