10 out of 10 recommend staying here! My family felt right at home and the place was lovely. Big beautiful backyard, it was nice to sit outside and listen to the birds chirp in the morning. The home was very minimalistic, organized and had everything that we needed. Very spacious and comfortable. The host was very responsive, proactive, kind, and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

We stayed at Irene’s beautiful home over the long weekend and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The house comfortably hosted our group of 7, and every corner of the property was thoughtfully maintained and inviting. The games room downstairs (pool table, air hockey, table tennis and many more) was a huge hit — packed with amenities and a great place to unwind together. The location itself is incredibly scenic, with a peaceful river flowing nearby and the occasional coal train passing behind the house adding a unique touch to the atmosphere. It was the perfect mix of tranquility and character. Whether you’re heading to New River Gorge or just want a serene getaway, this place is absolutely worth every penny. A delightful haven with oodles of space! The quirky decor and playful perks like the fire pit, arcade game, and life-size Connect 4 really seal the deal. 10/10 would waltz back in a heartbeat!

Shelly went above and beyond to accommodate us! The mountain hideaway is absolutely beautiful! I would highly recommend it to anyone who is planning a visit to Blowing Rock NC. We plan to go back next year.

Joanna’s home was perfect for our time in Asheville. It was 10-15 away from downtown, where we spent most days. The table was big enough for a board game. Plenty of books to choose from. The home is older, so the floors are slightly uneven, if your balance isn’t the best. We had no problems with it, though. The smores kit was a cute and thoughtful touch. The soap in the shower smells amazing. Check in and check out went smoothly, and we had no issues with our stay.

Melodie's place is a slice of heaven if you're looking for a peaceful hobby farm retreat. Around every corner were new discoveries whether the beauty of the landscape or the animals in their various living spaces around the property (horses, cows, chickens, couple friendly cats, and sweet welcoming dog Shelby). If you have time for a walk to the woods you'll be treated to a bubbling brook w a bench beside it for some contemplative time, not to mention flowers to gaze at all along way. We hadn't really been aware of the sauna (maybe it's in the listing and we missed it) but it's an incredible treat if you can find time one evening to check it out. There's even more than the exterior beauty and sauna treat, but I'll let you discover some surprises on your own. Ideally, you'll spend several days so you can take it all in. Melodie's family incl husband + kids were so nice + made us feel at home. Our stay was A+++ and we hope to return. Worth driving a little farther for this GEM.

Staying with Mr Jane was a pleasure. The location was perfect, the apartment was cozy and spotless. The place was well-equipped and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. This is a peaceful downstairs apartment with private entry and beautiful backyard with swimming pool. Mrs Jane was always available to answer our questions. unforgettable experience! Highly recommended!" 

The apartment is so beautifully decorated and very spacious, and we loved being able to walk to different restaurants and shops nearby. Bryson communicated quickly and was very helpful, we highly recommend staying here!

It was really easy to find due to the directions that were given to us before arrival. There was a book on the counter with places people enjoyed going, take out menus, and reviews of local attractions. The space was clean and had everything we needed. It wasn’t as private as some of the others we’ve stayed in but it was a nice area.

We were in town for a wedding and the host was amazing to let us check in early due to our schedule. Pictures match exactly how the house looks in person. Great for groups and in a quiet area.

Accurate photographs of the room and surroundings. Perfect directions to find the location. I just wish there was an extra blanket. I have no other complaints about this listing and I would stay again.
