Tullydowey Gate Lodge

Situated beside the village of Blackwatertown on the border between counties Tyrone and Armagh. Tullydowey Gate Lodge is a Grade B1 listed property built in 1793. Restoration of the gate lodge was completed in 2019 and undertaken with the utmost regard for the history of the building with many of the existing 18th century features sympathetically maintained whilst providing the comforts of 21st century living in a traditional country cottage style turning it once again into a real eye catcher.

Situated on the edge of the village of Orritor, approx 3 miles from Cookstown, Craigs Rock Cottage has an ideal central location for exploring Northern Ireland. We offer a self-contained sleeping and living area located within the Ring of Gullion. The Loft is a cosy hideaway and a great base from which to explore this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with beautiful views over the City of Newry and the Mourne mountains.

Large, bright, comfortable kitchen/living area with log burner and cookin essentials such as salt, pepper and oil. Good sized bathroom with both a bath and shower. Good sized clean bedroom (bedding provided). Beautiful quiet countryside, perfect for walks.

“The Meadow” is a quaint, rustic Shepherd’s Hut located in a meadow at Ballymartrim Wood. The hut features a double bed, wood burning stove, gas hob, storage space, solar lighting and a patio. There is a BBQ and fire pit and a toilet close by.
