Lovely cottage, very thoughtful extras to make us welcome (awesome lemon drizzle cake!) Lots of maps and leaflets about local places worth visiting. Beautiful place to walk the dogs. Very friendly pub just down the road. Very enjoyable stay, thank you ☺️

What a stunning little cottage. Great space for me, hubby and our dog. The cottage has everything you could possibly need and more. It was very comfortable and cosy and the attention to detail is amazing. The welcome basket was an added bonus and very much appreciated. It was just a 5 minute walk into the centre of Bedale and it has everything you need.

Bay Tree Cottage is a beautiful old cottage which has been modernised to a very high standard, whilst remaining sympathetic to the age and location of the property. Everything was high quality, super comfortable and very well equipped from cutlery to games, bed linen to towels, mugs to cleaning materials -everything was perfect. Four of us stayed at Bay Tree Cottage and loved our walks on the beach, visiting the (very) local Cod and Lobster, going out in a local boat trip, as well as visiting other places in the local area. It was a hike up the village to the car park at the top of the village but got us fitter and the views were so spectacular we didn’t mind this and the lack of cars made for a peaceful stay. Kevin contacted us before & just after arrival, making sure all was ok and also soon after we’d left to check we’d enjoyed our stay. This is, without doubt the best Air BnB we’ve stayed in and we can’t recommend Kevin as a host and his beautiful cottage highly enough.

brilliant place to stay. really nice cottage with everything you need and super comfortable. really peaceful area and perfect for a relaxing couple of days away. we will definitely be going again.

We had a lovely stay in the North York Moors. Jay was a fantastic host, the location and hut were excellent. It had everything you could possibly need, even a barn owl

we had an absolutely sensational time for my partners surprise birthday getaway! we stayed in horcum lodge 1 the decor was lovely everything we needed & the hottub area was so relaxing & private the fairy lights made it extra special. I spoke to Alison to arrange a birthday package who was so lovely and helpful. We loved hearing the birds singing, can't stress it enough being the most perfect getaway.. just the tonic we needed we will most certainly be coming back 🥰 so glad i found this gem keep doing what you are doing! thank you

An absolutely beautiful air BnB in a beautiful location. There’s views of the sea from the property and property itself was stunning. Stayed with all of my bridesmaids the night before my wedding and it was the perfect relaxing stay. Super comfy beds and roomy bathrooms (two of them contained both a separate shower and bath, one half bath upstairs). Would love to come stay again <3

Lovely, clean, spacious lodge in a lovely setting with a perfectly placed hot tub. The lodge meet all our requirements. Plenty of storage space, extra bedding provided and all the essentials. Highly recommended.

This was our second visit to Melanie's house We used it as a base to visit Beamish Museum which was only a few miles away. The house is clean tidy and well equipped. Would highly recommend it.
