Ticknall is just 2miles away, with beautiful walks through National Trust Calke Abbey and Anchor Church caves which is just a stones throw away. The cottage is self contained, with new facilities and open plan living. The stone walls, oak beams and vaulted ceiling with 3 sky light windows create a light spacious feeling.On evenings to enjoy being cosy, there is a electric log burner while you relax.

The cottage is of historic note and is listed in the Doomsday Book but has been stylishly designed and provides a comfortable place to stay. There are are some amazing places to visit and things to do also a number of good local pubs and restaurants
