Surrounded by The Williams Beach Trail System which provides many kilometres of woodland hiking. There is no beach access from the property but we're just a short walk to the Alders Beach which offers long stretches of sand for walking, swimming and exploring tidal pools. Your hosts are happy to assist you in any way they can to make your stay memorable.

Plenty of fresh or saltwater fishing to choose from so don’t forget the rod!

You will be 10 minutes from Courtenay or the base of Mt. Washington in a central place in the beautiful Comox Valley. For a day of adventures, head to Campbell River, Cumberland or Comox. Say good morning to the friendly horse and pony, Cam & Cody while you enjoy your morning coffee on the patio.

Cedar Cottage near the Sea

Our cottage is a cozy little "get away" for couples or a single person, situated on .6 acres of park like setting , quiet and restful, near host's home and across from the beach a few minutes walk away. Close by: Kingfisher Resort and Spa is a 5 minute drive away for pampering yourself with a good meal or spa treatments. Mt Washington Alpine Resort is 45 minutes away for skiing cross country or downhill in the winter, and hiking in the summer. Seaside swimming, reading and relaxing!

The Fat Cat Inn

In a quiet neighbourhood, a lovely, private, air-conditioned, vaulted-ceiling cabin with glass front overlooking Baynes Sound and the mountains of Vancouver Island. Self-contained with a private entrance. Queen-size bed in loft, single bed on main floor. Private bathroom with shower. Private access to beach. Close to ferry, a short walk to the local village. Please note that this property is not suitable for people with mobility issues or small children. WE DO NOT CHARGE CLEANING FEES.

Heather Cottage - Beautiful Wetland Views

Charming small cottage situated on the edge of wetlands with beautiful views. Private gazebo with covered firepit and a dock over looking the large pond. Located on our 5 acre free range egg farm in Merville, BC. The pond is home to a family of beavers, bald eagles, blue heron and various birds. Private walking trail off the cottage and access to the One Spot Trail at the end of our private drive. We are 20 mins from downtown Courtenay and 10 mins to the Mount Washington turn off.

Beautiful 2 bedroom ground level suite with the beach at your doorstep. Relax and enjoy the sunrise while the eagles, whales, and other wildlife play. Take a ride on our paddle boards or kayaks, roast a s’more by the fire on the beach or cast a rod while coho are running in the fall. There is always so much to see and do at the beach! We are a 6 minute drive from the airport, 15 minute drive to downtown and only 40 minutes to Mt. Washington Ski Resort... Welcome to Paradise!

The kitchen is sleek and stylish, perfect for cooking while enjoying the beautiful scenery outside. Outside, you have a spacious deck where you can relax and soak in the peaceful surroundings.

The Eagle's Nest is an entirely private, gorgeously renovated kitchenette suite at tree top level, filled with light, with brand new bathroom, amenities, and comfort. Private deck and sweeping, one of a kind views of the Strait of Georgia, the coastal mountains, passing deer, eagles overhead, and the sounds of waves and seals from the beach below.
