"Bird Song" is named after the host of bird calls that greet you each morning (and the night jars that you hear after dark). It is the perfect 'private bush camp' for a ‘family-of-4’ vacation or for a secluded ‘get-away-from-it-all retreat’ for couples. The architect designed timber structure is set on a slope with views through and over the fynbos and right at the edge of pristine Indigenous Forest. Welcome to Bridge Cottage and our home, Thornybush, on the edge of the forest. It is private and quiet. For runners and walkers there are 10kms of forest and fynbos paths to explore. Swim in the private natural river pool or relax on the deck and watch the birds. Thornybush is close to many excellent restaurants. The nearest beach is a 10 minute drive away, as are the bird and animal parks in the Crags and Plettenberg Bay Game Reserve is just up the road.
