This is a beautiful and spacious home in North Katoomba. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the centre of town, private, clean and very homely. There is a lovely gas fireplace for chilly evenings, and an array of birdlife to be seen and heard. It is described as a children's paradise - and that is a perfect description! There is a huge yard, with a sandpit and play equipment. Then, there is the yurt, which is fantastic - full of toys, a drawing easel and a table and chairs for play. Our son loved it! The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are comfortable. The small gifts from the host were a lovely touch. The property is walkable to the Minnehaha Falls, which are beautiful. It is also (just) walkable into town - although that takes some time and effort (some steep hills). It is within a short drive to all the sights/sites the Mountains have to offer. We would highly recommend this property.

Don and Patricia were great hosts! They communicated with us from day one really well. We requested an early check in and they were happy to help. They also brought us over an iron when we needed one. Overall, a great stay. Thanks again.

We had an amazing stay. The house is absolutely beautiful and grand and furnished with intriguing period pieces that added a nice touch. It was comfortable and warm with plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare our meals. Most important of all, it was very clean! It was a pleasure to stay. The cottage was beautiful, peaceful and quiet just like we hoped. Lisa and Ben were fantastic hosts, accommodating and friendly, they provided clear instructions and helpful information and allowed us to enjoy our time on our own and had the cottage perfectly clean and equipped with everything you would need for a peaceful retreat. Our stay in this charming house in the Blue Mountains was absolutely wonderful! The house is beautifully decorated—elegant and full of character yet so comfortable. The location was also good, close to Leura and Katoomba, where most of our activities were based. The hosts were responsive and communicative, making sure we had everything we needed for a smooth and enjoyable stay. We would absolutely recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing and stylish retreat in the Blue Mountains. We can’t wait to return!

We had a wonderful stay at the Balmain house. Everything was provided for an enjoyable stay with our three grandchildren. They really enjoyed watching all of the different watercraft through the sparking clean glass balconies. The ferry was so close and convenient and we had a delicious dinner at Fenwicks at the ferry dock one night. Marika was extremely hospitable and provided us an early check in since we arrived from the states. Hated to leave.

The place was exactly as it was described. walkable from Harris Park train station. Clean and clutter free. We were staying for work and this was the exactly as per our expectations. Will surely stay here again.

Super convenient family stay. We (family of 3) felt right at home with everything we needed in the house. Waverton train station is less than 5 minutes walk, then just a couple of stops to Sydney city centre, Chatswood for shopping etc. Waverton has some nice restaurants & bars, bottle shop and a small supermarket. There are lovely walks right on the doorstep down to the harbour or up to crows nest for dinner & cafes. Thanks Samantha for a great stay.

Sofia and her crew were excellent host. The apartment was spacious, clean, and very close to everything in Darling Harbour. I would definitely stay again. Thank you for making my first Sydney trip memorable.

We stayed at the apartment for a weekend. Family of Parents, Son and Grandchild. The apartment was spacious and all our needs were met. 2 balconies with views of the city skyline and the west. Within walking distance to restaurants, parks and super close to local markets with fresh produce. Nic was very quick to answer and requests from us and was very friendly. Very happy with our stay and would recommend the apartment for anyone who wants to be close to the CBD without being in the CBD.

We had a fantastic stay at the Canyons Retreat: Denise gave us a great welcome and excellent local recommendations. The accommodation was exactly as described, not overly luxurious, it offered great comfort and charm, a retreat in the mountain. Outstanding lounge room, perfect for relaxing on rainy days and plenty of space. The kitchen was enough to cook a nice breakfast with a single burner, maybe not enough to cook a bigger meal. I would recommend this place for couples seeking privacy and connection to the bush. Thanks for having us!

We stayed here with our three daughters, over Easter 2025. What a gorgeous place, in the best location. Five minutes walk down to the bridge and Circular Quay, and only a few minutes walk to the Barangaroo harbour pool, a hidden gem which our children loved. So easy to jump on the ferry to take you to Luna Park, Taronga Zoo, or any of the beautiful bays for lunch. The home was spotless, beautifully furnished and well equipped with everything we needed. So nice not to be cramped into one or two hotel rooms. This was such a lovely place to reside for a week. We are booking for next year too. Host was responsive and helpful. Thank you Jan!

my dog Delta and I had the best time staying at Jacaranda cabin. Fiona was most accommodating and respected our privacy through our stay. I highly recommend this stay if you are looking to escape the world and be surrounded by beautiful nature. My dog was most welcome and great to have her by my side.

Gina was a lovely host, very responsive, left clear instructions and presented a clean, unique and cozy cabin accommodation. Me and my wife spent 3 nights over the Anzac 2025 long weekend with our two cattle dogs and loved that it was pet friendly, close to the cider houses (Bilpin & Hillbilly Cider), private and overall a beautiful property. It had its own undercover parking spot as well which made it easy to come and go even when raining. If we are ever stay in the Bilpin area again we will definitely remember the Cozy Cabin or recommend to friends!

A quaint old renovated cottage, beautiful view of the bay. Very private location among nature. Easy stroll into town. Private outdoor bath and shower, that you can soak in and enjoy a tranquil moment. Lovely little campfire to sit by at night. Nice Deck to sit on overlooking the bay for meals. Also indoor shower toilet, a great place for a couple for a weekend.

We’ve stayed before, it was again lovely

The cottage was absolutely beautiful and felt at home straight away! The hosts went above and beyond with all the little touches throughout the property including pizza kits and homemade granola (Prue even went out her way to make me a gluten free version). We also had a lovely massage by Kate which was the perfect way to relax. The house is in a very peaceful area, close to beautiful blue mountain trails, we thoroughly enjoyed our break and would very much recommend!

Staying on the river was paradise. It was beautiful - especially from the deck! My only two suggestions is to share there is no wifi and that the beds are pushed up against a wall. Also, at least for us, there was no data connection. We were able to go into town and use the cafe wifi, but if we had seen in advance (there was a message about no wifi at the bottom of the description), we would have prepared better for working remotely. Also for older people, the beds only allow one person to get out and the other person has a wall they sleep along. Other than these two minor items that can be communicated in the description, the accommodation, the location and all of the extras are excellent. We enjoyed the bbq, the kayaks, the hammock and the firepit. Everything was comfortable and the a/c was helpful sleeping at night when there was a controlled burn. We definitely recommend staying here.

The location is absolutely beautiful — peaceful surroundings, amazing walking trails, and stunning views. Philip was also a fantastic host: friendly, responsive, and full of great local tips. We especially appreciated the clear instructions and thoughtful touches throughout the stay. Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in nature. Antonina was a lovely host, who responded straight away to any questions we had. The home was just as described very beautiful with lovely surroundings. We felt so relaxed in this beautiful private surroundings. Would definitely recommend and we will hopefully be coming back in Easter.
