We love Lara's place in Bicheno. This was the second time we stayed in Lara's house. It is a beautiful spot and the house is so well appointed. It all makes for a very relaxing stay!

Absolutely magical stay at the Lobster Pot Cabin! This was hands down the cutest house we’ve ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived, everything was immaculate and spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and so thoughtfully prepared, right down to the linens and perfectly curated decor. Heidi has put so much love and attention into every detail, from the fully equipped kitchen to the helpful tips on where to go and what to see. It felt like we were experiencing the very heart of Tasmania. The welcome cheese and bubbles were such a thoughtful touch so thank you Heidi xx Heidi! I’ll admit, I shed a tear when we had to leave. Perfection. Attention to detail- even in the kitchen…we had all the dishes and utensils necessary to cook like a chef at the house! There are even pantry items there- so check on that before running to the grocery store in town because we bought doubles in some things. I’m sure the selections in the pantry will vary. In addition, there may be garden produce ready for the picking!! Make sure and check with the host first- that will be seasonal, I’m sure. Beds are comfortable, showers have hot water, tub with jets is helpful after a day of sight-seeing. As owner notes, it isn’t hot, just warm…but it was still a good experience. Decks overlook bay/ocean- you get to witness the changing colors of the Hazards throughout the day standing over the bay. And if you are wondering- we saw amazing Aurora lights out over the water! Windows everywhere! Just incredible’views- there are no words. And you boy minutes from Swansea. Host has a book with restaurant suggestions. Grocery.❤️

A perfect spot near Freycinet National Park. We really enjoyed our stay here. Very convenient location for access to the park. As an extra bonus, we also found good eating spots nearby. Views from the front deck were spectacular, particularly sunset.

This was a great place for a family gathering of 2 couples, 4 singles and 3 children. We all found beds (with a bit of adaptability)over the 5 sleeping rooms The gathering areas were good also, with two slightly separate seating areas within the one big space so the chn could play on their screens away from us. The table tennis table was also a great hit. It was lovely that all 11 of us could sit around the dining table for meals. Outside sitting areas were also very comfortable. The beach was just a bit of a walk from the back door through a well defined bush track. Swansea provided a great IGA for meal prep and a nice coffee shop or two. A lovely holiday. Staying in the Driftwood Cottage was lovely…..quiet, tucked away in the sand dunes and within an easy drive to Swansea. On arrival we let ourselves in and discovered a beautiful little beach house. Clean, neat and providing everything we needed. Driftwood is within an easy drive of Freycinet National Park …. Where we explored The Friendly Beaches, Honeymoon Bay and the Cape Turnville lighthouse walk. Not to mention a stroll along Nine Mile Beach (3 minute walk) We picked up local fresh seafood for dinner and watched the sunset from the front deck. We would thoroughly recommend staying at Fred’s!

Peaceful and private with amazing and beautiful views and surroundings! Private beach was breathtakingly beautiful. Will definitely stay there again!

We had an amazing stay and it made our Easter break great! Our host was so helpful and we really appreciated his thoughtful advice. We fully recommend this place to anyone wanting a great break on Tassie’s east coast.

Great place for big groups as plenty of space to entertain. First impression was very homely as it was warm with a nice scent throughout. Walking distance from all shops and restaurants is always a bonus also! Would highly recommend and would love to come back again

Great house in a beautiful location.

The lodge was perfect for our extended family weekend, it’s not fancy but ideal and safe for young children. 2 living areas, a big kitchen and enough seating for everyone including an outdoor steaming the garage and a furious with wood supplied. The facilities at the estate were great and kept the adults and kids busy and entertained. Tash was a wonderful host

Wow what an amazing home with a luxurious feel. The kitchen had everything we needed plus more. The magnesium pool was clean and warm and lovely to relax in. The bedrooms were extra comfy and perfect for our party of 4 with a double or queen bed each! Plus three bathrooms between us. Thankyou for a great base to explore the Bay of Fires and Halls Falls. It was just perfect 🙏

An amazing private property with gorgeous views to Freycinet Peninsula and the ocean. The home is top notch and just the best spot to get away from the world for a while. Loved it!

What a beautiful spot Megan has here, right on the beach with accompanying views of the sea and mountains. The bedrooms are great, the living rooms both have a purpose and are well furnished with comfy sofas and furniture. Loved the large windows facing the beach that had wonderful views. We also loved the seating outside including the two seats on the dune right near the beach. The only thing bad with this place is that we could not stay longer. Cannot recommend highly enough.

This property is unparalleled, one of a kind. You’re right in the ocean, sunrise from the lounge, multiple decks, multiple places to sit and take in the full environment, with so many aspects and experiences on offer; nearly 360 degree views. A rare rare find.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cottage. A very comfortable space to relax in with beautiful bush surroundings and very short walk to beach, walks, etc. Great kitchen, bathroom, balconies.

Great location, well appointed home for a getaway. Excellent amenities. Felt like a home away from home. Comfortable family holiday home - even included toys and books for the kids!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this amazing house! It has the most sensational panoramic views of the beautiful white beach and turquoise ocean that is right at the doorstep of this absolute beachfront home! We had a lovely stay. We loved the fire pit and enjoyed sitting around the fire in the evenings. Was a close walk to the pub for dinner 😊 also had great kitchen utensils if you were going to cook and lots of extra little touches!
