Went on a trip with our family after many years and was so glad to choose this place as our getaway — we loved the home and can’t wait to get back. The hosts were extremely kind and helpful, their home was comfortable for all ages.

We had a unforgettable weekend at Kathryn's home with good friends! The pool, the barn, the privacy and the surroundings were spectacular! I already recommended the home to mu family because it does feel like home 🏡

Gorgeous private property, surrounded by nature. Welcoming home with wonderful amenities. Instantly aware a great deal of thought was put into all aspects of this home, providing a seamless transition to vacation mode. Host was very communicative and helpful. Would highly recommend.

The house was great. clean, lots of towels, loved the hot tub. There are two things I would point out. The steps to the upstairs are very hard for people with mobility issues but there are four bedrooms on first floor. There are two single steps on the first floor.

Stayed for a girls reunion long weekend. We were thrilled which how much room we had to spread out. We chose this airbnb for the number of bathrooms which made getting ready super easy. This place is well equipped with mirrors, closets etc. the kitchen was fully loaded as well, which was great as we cooked/ate there mostly. The heated soaker pool was the perfect way to end our days and we used the firewood for a bonfire. We definitely would stay here again.

I would recommend this home greatly. We were on a girls weekend. We enjoyed the home the surroundings and the peacefulness. It’s in a beautiful setting close to many great restaurants and wineries. The beds were comfortable and the homeless clean. Should we ever find ourselves that way again we’ve already decided we would stay here.

It’s a private place to go and enjoy and famili kids are very happy with the pool and activities

There isn’t enough space on this review to write all the great things about our stay, this house and Nicole. Nicole is a fabulous host: easy to communicate with, very responsive and gave us some great insight to the area. The house was even better in person than in the photos. Very clean, well appointed and just the best location. It was quiet and remote while being close to things to do. The walking trail, hot tub and screen in porch were our most used spaces. The beds are very comfortable, there’s plenty of linens and pillows, and the perfect sleeping arrangement layout. There is a great assortment of toys in the house as well which my 2 year old loved. There was also so many thoughtful touches to the house as well like welcome guides, cooking basics and spices, bug spray, and so many other things. We have already said this is a house we will return to visit again. I also appreciated that the house really makes you disconnect and reset and enjoy the outdoors. Thank you again!

Our family really enjoyed our stay! We loved the large backyard and living space. The kitchen was fully equipped and host was very response. Would definitely book again!

Tracey and Nick are wonderful. The ultimate hosts. Always responsive when I had any questions or concerns. They are a very kind and caring couple. My husband went into the hospital during our stay. When they learned of this, they offered lots of support and even brought over home-made food to share. We were very blessed to be in one of their homes. They are two people who live the word, "love thy neighbor as thyself."

Highly recommended. This is a beautiful, historic house in a great neighborhood. My stepkids enjoyed exploring all the different areas, like the loft/attic, and playing in the yard and basement. I liked that the neighborhood is walkable, and enjoyed sitting on the screened-in porch. Everything was comfortable, from the beds to the towels. We stayed during a heat wave, and while there is no central a/c (not surprising, because this is an old house), the multiple window units upstairs kept the bedrooms and living areas downstairs cool. Cory was a welcoming host, providing things like bottled water and all the stuff you might possibly need in the kitchen. I had easy communication with him, and he allowed us to check in early. The whole stay was excellent, from beginning to end. This feels like a house that is really cared for. I’d definitely stay here again, and cannot recommend it enough! Beautiful scenery, quiet, peaceful environment with lots to do in the area.

Brianna’s place felt right at home. It was warm, toasty and cozy… rooms and bathrooms were clean, the space was uncluttered, there enough blankets and kitchen appliances… it was in a private, quiet area. It had a beautiful view and a deck to sit on and have a cup of tea, coffee or even spend the whole day at. Highly recommend!!

Great, comfortable stopover on our way from WVA to Wake Forest, via D.C. We even found Maryland blue crabs at a nearby restaurant. The hot tub was nice on a cool night. Would come back if ever in the area.

This is the second time staying here and we absolutely loved it. It’s so private and beautifully maintained. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful and private getaway with friends and family.

Since we were in the area for a nearby family wedding, we thoroughly enjoyed an extended weekend reunion with children and grand children at Lele's landing. This home was immaculate and well appointed with all the supplies one might need. Although the pictures of this listing don't show it, there is a "secret" child's closet with numerous toys, puzzles and play items that totally delighted our 2 younger grandboys! Dave was also very helpful, approachable, and easy to reach out to. The countryside and short creek trail was fun to explore. Overall, this was an excellent home away from home to share quality family time. Thanks, Dave, for opening your peaceful home up for us!
