Slipper Rock Cabin

Called “Slipper Rock” in memory of Bessie Lakes, an elderly lady that lived on farm many years ago. She could be heard laughing while playing in the stream that runs by the cabin. She called the stream “Slipper Rock”. The newly built cabin sits on 15 acres. Numerous hiking trails & horseback riding trails. Some trails in Daniel Boone National Forest. Bring your own horses. Relax sitting on porch, by fire pit or on rocks by stream. Nothing prettier than the night sky. Hope to see you all soon.

Kromer Cottage

Kromer Cottage a cozy home built in 1937 and nestled in the countryside yet only 6 min. from Berea College, Historic Boone Tavern, and 15 minutes to Renfro Valley Entertainment Center. Hiking enthusiasts will find The Pinnacles of Berea nearby as well as Boone Trail Trace, and Flat Lick Falls Trail to name just a few. Delicious meals and shopping can be conveniently found in Berea. Nestled near Central Kentucky Wildlife Reserve, The Nest offers an entire upper floor for one price with two private rooms: Chickadee’s Nest (queen) & Sparrow's Nest (king and trundle), a Gathering room with a sleeper sofa, Paris Coffee Room, bird bath (bathroom), bird perch (deck), wifi, monitor/cable in each room. Art classes are offered upon request by children's book author/illustrator, Lori McKeel, for an additional fee. Separate entrance and plenty of privacy and parking.
