As other reviewers have said, Cynthia has a great little get-away. We changed arrival plans/departure plans and she was very accomdating to each request. Really enjoyed the cats, they are very friendly. Beware, the stairs to the upstairs living area are bit tricky to navigate, especially when carrying a bag.

I stayed at many airbnbs and this one easily takes a spot in the top 3. Kelly's place was everything you could wish for. We felt right at home as soon as we walked in. The cottage was clean and way better than its description. The kitchen was stocked with everything one would need and even included snacks and water. Kelly also provided us with firewood for the fire pit! The beds and linen were comfortable and clean and the bathroom was spotless. Kelly proactively reached out to us and even suggested nearby places we should visit. The place is within an hour drive of multiple attractions and if you don't feel like driving far, the lake has everything you need. This is one of those places where after just day the first thought is "I need to book here again"

Staying at Sally’s rentals has become a family tradition for us. She is an excellent host who has provided us with kindness, flexibility, and extremely quick responses when anything has come up. Her properties are well-stocked, offering the comforts of home and so much more. We come back every year because we’ve had such positive experiences. It truly feels like a home away from home for us!

Overall, Amanda’s place was adorable and a great getaway for a long weekend! Amanda is very responsive and kind. We had a few hiccups with the house (technical things) and she was very responsive and willing to help as much as she could despite not being in the area. It is a tight space for more than 6 people. There were 7 total in our group so keep in mind it only having one shower and some close sleeping quarters. The beds were very comfy and clean though. It was still cool with the AC window units on too (if staying in the summer). All in all would stay again!

The home is so beautiful, I took pictures because I really want to build a home and it’s what I’m going to base it off of!!! Kathlene was so helpful. Anything we needed she was right on it.!! we will plan on coming again in the future! You will not be disappointed in this location or the home itself!!

Can’t say enough about how much I enjoyed my brief, but extremely satisfying stay. Comfortable, clean, homey; while maintaining a complimentary feel and theme of being a little more “ out there,” relatively. Whenever I may hit up the Allegheny National Forest again for a hiking trip, there’s no other place or host I’d seek out. And I like trying new things often. Definitely need at least two nights next time. It was that great, truly. And the book collection! So eclectic. I could go on even more… it was perfect Thank you, Dean, and friends.

Grew up in the area and came back to visit family. Stayed here for a quiet weekend break and this place was clean, comfortable and had all the amentities. It was quiet and easy to unwind. I highly reccomend this gem.

WOW! That’s what we said when we opened the front door. The view of the lake was awesome and Barbara’s house was perfect for the 4 of us celebrating our 70th birthdays. We have stayed in many Airbnb’s before but this house had every amenity you could ask for. It is tastefully decorated and well stocked including paper products, shampoos, spices, etc. The beds were very comfortable and the view of the morning sunrise from the master bedroom was absolutely breathtaking! We visited the National Comedy Museum in Jamestown and walked the beautiful grounds of the Chautauqua Institute ! Barbara was the perfect hostess and even offered to mail the clothes we left in the dryer back to us. As one ages, we tend to remember the “moments” and forget the “things”🥴. Thank you, Barbara, for transforming your shack into a spectacular cottage and sharing it with us.

This is an awesome place close to beach, restaurants etc. We loved everything about this place! Will be staying there again!

Summer Haven is exactly as advertised. It's a beautiful home, right on the water, with the best views on the Lake. The owners were very welcoming and kind. Their cottage is next to their home and they have put a ton of love and time into their property. It was quiet, serene, and relaxing. The location is close to the Institute, restaurants, and shops. Mayville is by far the best spot on the lake. It's a short drive to Bemus Point and Jamestown. The home was comfortable and provided lots of towels, bedding, and comfort. I gave the cost 4 stars as it's so expensive to rent any property today. If the cost remains the same next year, we'd LOVE to return! Also, thank you for allowing our pets to come with us. They are family and it wouldn't be a vacation without them. Truly appreciate the inclusion of furry pets. Thanks!

Cute house! We loved our stay. And it was very nice to be able to do laundry there too.

Lovely little cottage, fit our needs perfectly. Clean, clear instructions for use, easy to find, and private.

Judy was wonderful and gracious. I booked a ski trip for my brothers and I, but had to move the date around due to conflicting scedules and the passing of a family member. Judy was very understanding, patient, and responsive as we situated ourselves.

My wife and I had a very relaxing stay. We found a few very nice places to eat and plenty of sights to see nearby. We would like to plan another stay during the summer and spend some time on the water. Thank you Bryce, for everything!

We had a great stay at Rebecca and Eric's cottage. The layout of the home is great, and it provided more than enough space for four adults and one child. We loved our morning walks to the lake and through the neighborhood - such a peaceful and relaxing setting. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and Rebecca and Eric were very quick to respond to any questions we had. We would love to stay again the next time we are in town!

We have stayed many times at the cottage and it is a delight. It is always spotless and has everything you could possibly need. We are so grateful that John opens up the cottage to guests and we cherish our family memories made there!

This was a fabulous choice for a weekend wine getaway with girlfriends! The description of the place was spot on! I have been coming to the area for 15 years and always wanted to stay at this place because it looks so unique from the outside. It did not disappoint, and the hostess was spectacular in term of communication. We will be back!

This was the perfect place for four of us who meet for a long weekend every October. It's a beautiful location, and the house was very comfortable. It's so nice to be able to open the door and be on the beach. We got to enjoy some sunshine while walking on the beach and the sound of the wind and waves during a rainy night too. We were able to spend time at Niagara Falls and the two Frank Lloyd Wright houses nearby. We found some good meals just down the road at Aunt Millie's and Colony Seafood & Steak. Would love to be at this house during the warm summer days and sit on the patio and play in the lake. Tina was very quick to respond to any questions we had.

The hosts are very responsive and friendly. The house was newly remodeled, clean and beautiful. We did not have children with us but the house definitely is child friendly. The area is absolutely stunning and there is a lot to do.
