Bradley was a very responsive host with an amazing home. It was exactly as described!

The view was incredible, every morning seeing the sunset over the mountains was breathtaking. The stay was great, the local market was awesome, the overlooks were so beautiful. The host was fantastic and extremely responsive. I would like to recommend that if you want an amazing experience in the mountains I advise you to make a trip and see this amazing property. You will absolutely fall in love with it as we did.

Great place in Wintergreen! We stayed in Spring and everything was quiet and the foliage was vibrant. Our family went hiking and exploring everyday, and enjoyed the food and drink down in the valley. There is a nice trail in Wintergreen if you can find the overlook off Old Appalachian trail. Hot tub was a plus for sure! Enjoyed the trails in the neighborhood and watching the golfers. All the amenities you could ask for and a clean tidy home!

I loved the space inside and outside. The home is spacious, exceeding expectations, and very comfortable. A peaceful and serene rural setting. The only disappointment was how short my stay was.

Love Ridge Mountain Lodging really was wonderful! A perfect, private getaway for relaxing after a long day skiing at the nearby Wintergreen Resort!

This cabin was perfect for my sister and I. It backs up to the most beautiful line of trees in the forest. The kitchen includes all plates and cutlery as well as a really cute mini coffee bar that they've built! (You'll notice the similarly built, gorgeous fireplace as well.) The coffee bar includes coffee from Dunkin' Donuts, Folgers as well as a hot chocolate with a selection of Torani syrups. There's a small Welcome binder in the kitchen that explains the history of the cabin as well as things like how to use the air conditioner, which we found helpful. Towels and toilet paper are provided in the bathroom (which has a heated toilet seat!). There is a small "Campfire Comforts" shelf near the front door that is stocked with things to make s'mores by the small fire pit outside. Small blankets, skewers and even bug spray were provided too! This cabin was immaculately cleaned and very well-kept. I highly recommend it and Lorrie is a superb host.

I stayed in the cabin on the river, I must say it was probably the best few days I’ve ever had. Such a beautiful and peaceful set up, not to mention the farm as a whole was amazing. I will definitely be back!

Great place! Quiet, peaceful, and a nice base camp for exploring the Roanoke area. We had a wonderful timw, and the host was quick to respond to questions (mainly asking about background of the cabin and area). No issues, wonderful place! Highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful stay at Sarah’s cabin. The space was clean and comfortable, and the views of the surrounding property were beautiful. Sarah went out of her way to make us feel both welcome and at home. In fact, she left us breakfast supplies, including fresh eggs and homemade muffins! (She even left us supples to make s’mores!) The location was super convenient for us to visit the Virginia Safari Park and the Natural Bridge State Park as well.

Our stay at Finn’s Folly was fantastic, we wish it could have been longer. Kathryn is a great host, even leaving us some fresh eggs to enjoy! We’d gladly stay again.

We were looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway and that’s exactly what we got! The house was spacious and clean and the host, John communicated promptly. The only downside was the walk to the river. It was a bit more challenging than expected and did not provide any clear access entry into the water. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to others!

Was a beautiful house and even more beautiful Property. The creek was beautiful, lots of area for kids to explore. Very well kept. The only issue we had was we could not find the cute fire pit by the creek the pictures showed. Other than that we had a great time and would highly recommend. Also should be stated to bring plenty of bottles or jugs of water.

We cannot say enough great things about the owners and this beautiful cabin!! If you are thinking about booking, think no more and do it! Not only was it absolutely beautiful on the inside but the area outside of the cabin made us feel like we were in our own sweet world. We saw deer, squirrels, so many birds, it was on the river and it was dreamy. The cabin itself was so fun! To stay in a real log cabin was a bucket list item and it was very pristine. There were wonderfully helpful notes all around to help us out and did I mention it was beautiful?!???

We loved the large deck with incredible views! There is another property very close to this one so wasn’t as secluded as we had hoped but overall we loved our stay here. Go check out Eagle Zen Winery if you have the chance.

It’s no wonder Patty & Tom have such stellar reviews! Their cabin is one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed in! Close to all Floyd has to offer, everything was meticulously thought of: fully stocked kitchen, extra blankets, water & snacks, and little touches -as a woman I really appreciated. I worked from the cabin the entire week, as the desk was the perfect spot to hold meetings and enjoy the view of the snow falling as well as the fireplace in the living room. Our bedroom was cozy, the period furniture all about the cabin adding a sense of whimsy. Each evening we cooked in the spacious, well equipped kitchen and enjoyed our meals at the dining room table. Best of all, Patty and Tom are gracious, kind, and the kind of hosts that Airbnb should strive for. We look forward to visiting Patty, Tom, and the Cabin again!

This is such a beautiful cabin! We were only there one night, would have been lovely to stay longer and explore more walks in the area. Rebecca's instructions meant it was easy to find, just a couple minutes off BRP so great location and feels very secluded. The s'mores were an unexpected treat!

Amazing and YES, cozy but not small country cottage! Beautiful Natural and well kept outdoors. Many sitting and dinning areas. inside provided tremendous light, many windows, Amazing space and separation of sleeping areas and very private bath. Kitchen perfectly laid out with much space for multiple cooks. Clean, private, quite and indoor bug free environment. Two perfect fire pits; one secluded for privacy and another perfect for gatherings. Perfect ambience. We felt we were home away from home. We had last minute request and Michelle was flexible, accommodating and went beyond host duties to fulfill our unusual needs. We will definitely return for another country cozy get away. Check in/out instructions were clear and minimal. Thank you for an amazing getaway! Look for us to return. We will definitely tell our friends!

Melba's little cabin is amazing. Don't just stay somewhere nice, stay somewhere unique and wonderful! From the custom details in the house to the adorable animals just across the fence (especially the little pig), this cabin was a heartwarming, peaceful experience we'll never forget. Close to great dining, too and of course Smith Mountain Lake. Thank you, Melba and family. We hope to come back.

The Floyd EcoVillage cabin was the perfect fit for me. I needed a peaceful place to decompress, but wanted to be close to town for restaurants, etc. It was cozy, quiet, comfortable, and convenient--exactly what I needed!

Pieter and Jenna's place was ideal for us after a day of hiking. Peaceful, quiet and close to the AT. Price was very reasonable in comparison to others and it was not a hotel. We just needed an overnight quiet place to sleep, make dinner and breakfast and back on the trail and then back home. Our goal was not to hang out, but it might have been nice to use or bring a Solo Stove Fire Pit. Their place was VERY clean, looked new, easy check in and check out. Not a big fridge or microwave but worked just fine for our needs. There is no door between the bathroom/laundry room and the bedroom, just small swinging saloon doors. Which is fine, as long as you understand that you don't have the kind of privacy you may be used to at home. All-in-all, it was a nice place to stay and would come back again.

Love this little place hidden in the woods, away from the hustle and bustle. Quiet and comfy, perfect location to just BE. February weather being what it is, we spent most of our time indoors with a fire in the cozy woodstove. Our original plan was for me to spend days in town for an assignment but when it fell through, well, the change in plans was everything I didn't know I needed. Our communication was fabulous - very responsive and helpful with all of my questions.

We stopped at Tammy’s for a few nights on our way from Florida to Maine. The beauty of West Virginia mountains is sublime, and we found ourselves at the heart of them - what a delight! The house was exactly what we imagined a mountain cabin to be. It was clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The full kitchen afforded us an opportunity to cook our meals. Tammy shared some hiking ideas with us, and we took full advantage of her recommendations. But above all, we loved the sense of beauty and tranquility that surrounded us from the moment we arrived.
