John and Jeanelle went above and beyond as hosts. Kirkwood is a remote place and they came to my rescue with AAA batteries we needed and couldn’t find at the general store. They were so responsive and tentative to our needs while we were there for a ski competition for our son. Would definitely recommend all of their properties at Kirkwood!

Had a wonderful stay, and really enjoyed the time in Kirkwood.

This is the third time my wife and I have stayed in the same unit (H). We are very familiar with the area, having previously owned a home just a few miles away. The unit is very convenient to Apple Hill and downtown Placerville, with a variety of stores and restaurants, minutes away. Though convenient to the freeway, unrelenting traffic noise can puta dent in the otherwise very peaceful surroundings. More so during summer months when windows or door may be open for fresh air, or relaxing on the small balcony with a glass of wine. Maybe other units (A, B, C, and D) being a little further away may be a little quieter but the covered parking with units E- H more than compensate IMO. Much nicer to get into a cool car, especially during hot summer days. The condo itself is equipped with everything you may need for kitchen use but I find the couches and seating could be more comfortable. The TV programming is via apps, which is okay but I used my iPad for up to the minute news.

Doug’s concern for his guests and attention to detail starts with his check-in instructions/directions/recommendations. Thoughtful touches like fresh ground coffee and shampoo & body wash dispensers add to the experience, but it’s the custom lighting he’s got going on that really rounds it all out. Couldn’t ask for a more convenient location. Thanks Doug! We had a great stay.

Great location a bit noisy when the bar is going downstairs but the condo is outfitted well and very comfortable. We’d definitely stay here again.

The unit was exactly what was expected. There were a few items that the cleaners had missed but when we contacted Sarah about the ski locker (which still had skis in it) she was very responsive and solved the problem immediately.

We had a great stay at Solomon’s. The place is comfortable, clean and just as described. The place is conveniently located a short walk to the Kirkwood main village and lifts.

We were very comfortable at this condo. we enjoyed the easy access to ski resort and the nice neighborhood, with library and pizza place.

We loved the pellet stove for heating! The condominium was very spacious with two almost completely separate, self-contained living spaces. We had to bring our dog, and the space worked for having a pet.

We had a great experience. There was one minor issue that was resolved quickly and the communication was excellent. We would certainly stay here again!

Charming condo in a great location. Really enjoyed our time there. Also really appreciated how easy check-in was. Condo was clean and had everything we needed. Great wifi and all the necessary sports tv channels.

Definitely enjoy staying here, the host is responsive and proactive in making sure the stay is comfortable. The cats are just as friendly and help make the space lively.

Location can't be beat! Perfect for a weekend ski trip.

Me and my friends had a great experience staying here, it was so easy to check in and get situated. The suite was so spacious and had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. The hosts were very responsive, and made this weekend getaway so pleasant.

This is a wonderful spot. Top floor end unit with really lovely views(might be the best there) and very quiet. There were deer outside, hummingbirds, dragonflies and lots of sweet birds. Pool and games are close. And the people that work there were helpful and kind. There are a few spices in the cabinet but anything else you need to cook with you'd have to get at the grocery store or bring with you. Definitely equipped with all of the necessary utensils and linens. Having a grill was really nice. We would definitely stay again if we go back. Made for a fun and comfortable first night in Cali. Excellent place. Fully implemented and soooo clean. We loved it. Beds really nice. Internet is spotty but it was expected. We’ll come back if the opportunity arises again. Host responded really promptly and kindly.

We love staying at Worldmark. It’s a great central location. The units are always clean and comfortable. We used the fireplace to get cozy after the hot tub. We will definitely come back again.
