The Bayside Farm

During travel I look for character and authenticity, and I hope to offer these to you during your stay while you visit our beaches, redwoods or the University. Private studio has a separate entry next to our 1904 farmhouse-queen bed, WIFI, private bathroom, kitchenette with electric tea kettle, airfryer/griddle and microwave. I provide organic/local coffee, cream, tea, sugar and will have some other goodies for you which will not be restocked during your stay. Please non smokers only and no pets

The Guest House

Nestled within the Jacoby Creek valley, near Humboldt Bay, with easy access to Arcata or Eureka; immersed in leafy surrounds, offering a variety of hiking and walking trails, perfect for nature lovers; this Guest House ensures peace and quiet while being only a very short drive to all amenities. The oversized covered front porch provides a weather protected outside living room area, ideal for gathering with friends and to enjoy the ducks and chickens that amble the expansive country yard.

Cozy & Private in the Country-Chic "Blue Room"

NEWLY REMODELED! The Country-Chic Blue Room is your totally private, quiet, cozy country guest suite with a spa-like luxury bathroom, located just 2 miles from town, across the street from the Mad River and 5 miles from the beach. Cruising up the long drive-way, you'll be welcomed by our mustang, and adorable donkeys . We welcome guests of all backgrounds and love making new friends. Having lived on the North Coast for over 40 years we're a great resource to make your stay memorable.

Arcata Hearth

We are an urban homestead complete with a permaculture-inspired garden, chickens, and bees we invite you to enjoy. We provide our guests with eggs, milk, coffee, tea, pastries and fruit. All our cleaning products are non-toxic. The Arcata Community forest where you can enjoy a peaceful stroll or an active long run is just down the street. Our home is close to the beach, downtown Arcata, and Humboldt State University. You’ll love our location, your hosts, the views, and our garden.

It is just blocks from the Arcata Plaza, Cal Poly Humboldt, Arcata Community Forest, Redwood Park and the Humboldt Crabs Baseball field. Go Crabbies! From the deck of this one bedroom architecturally modern space, beautiful bayfront sunsets can be enjoyed. Arcata is a very pedestrian friendly, small town. The Guesthouse

The Guesthouse is on a quiet street surrounded by decorative trees on 1/2 acre. There is a private entrance to the second floor space. This is a brand new building with hardwood floors, a full kitchen, double shower, and washer and dryer. The bedroom has a cal king Tempurpedic bed. There is also a large, southern facing deck to enjoy the sun and views of the apple trees and extensive landscaping. The Guesthouse offers private, quiet accommodations in a clean, modern space.
