Up North Gem on Diamond Lake in Bayfield County

Lakeside cabin on pristine Diamond Lake in the heart of the Chequamegon National Forest area just outside of Cable, Wisconsin. The Birkebeiner cross country ski trail and scores of other mountain biking, hiking, and snowmobiling trails are close by plus other public recreation opportunities (hunting, snowshoeing, bird watching, etc) abound in the nearby National Forest lands. Several other lakes, including Lake Namekagon and Lake Owen, are nearby for your boating and fishing pleasure.

In the summer, we are a bustling outfitter (likely to be busy sometimes!) - join us for a sea kayak tour or just relax at the beach. During the off-season (mid-Sept to mid-May) there are plenty of hiking, atv, and snowmobile trails in the area. We are right across the street from Lake Superior and boast a beautiful sunset.
