We loved Mary’s place. Mary is very responsive and provided parking reminders during winter storm. Plenty of room for our group. We enjoyed cooking meals and relaxing by the fireplace in the evenings. Highly recommend staying here!

We enjoyed the cute house so much. Very clean, nice beds, it had many thoughtful items for us such as extra kitchen items and blankets, tea and coffee, salt and pepper. Great location by the lake. We were there in early November and had great weather but still too chilly to use patio or grill. It would be great to be there in different weather to use outside stuff. Lots to do and easy to get around. Great stay all the way around. Highly recommend!

This is our second time staying here- once again an overall great experience. Cash is a helpful and communicative host. This place was perfect for ice fishing/snowshoeing and family time.

Staying at Jeff and Susan’s was as easy as it gets— smooth check-in, beautiful location with wildlife out the back door (deer routinely passing through the yard), timely responses to questions, and minimal checkout process. Plenty of spices and cookware to feel like a home away from home. Home was very clean and watching the sunset over the lake from the living room never got old. Will certainly be staying here again!

The retreat on the lake was a beautiful place to spend a few days. We were there in the winter, and it was a nice cozy atmosphere to be in. The lake is beautiful, and there are beautiful walking trails in the neighborhood. There is a nice little community beach which would be great in the summer. Ashley was a very helpful and responsive host. Thank you!

We had a great time celebrating an 80th birthday party at Eileen's home. This property is right on the water, which is very appealing. The Bay is peaceful and serene. We would bring our kayaks along if we stay again (boat landing near by). The steps to get to the water were a bit difficult for our older family members to navigate. We loved the flat greenspace for playing outdoor games. Handy to have on site laundry and open concept kitchen/ dining/ living room. The loft area is open to the kitchen, so not the best area for light sleepers or late rizers:) Loved our time there, it's a special place!!

An incredible space at the end of a private drive, overlooking the lake. The space was warm and welcoming, literally and figuratively! Loved the front sitting room with floor to ceiling windows to sit and sip coffee and enjoy the views. The proximity to the neighboring Houghton Falls preserve was enjoyed using the trail on the property. Peaceful, relaxing, made use of the large fire pit outdoors with the lake in the background. Close enough to town if you forget something and need to run in real quick, otherwise peaceful privacy to enjoy nature and the beautiful surroundings.

Very clean and cozy. The WiFi wasn’t working which was frustrating as there’s zero cell signal. Otherwise it was very comfortable!

The Outer Island Apartment was lovely as always. We enjoy coming up here annually for our anniversary and we are delighted each time we stay at Molly's place with a large covered porch, windows that show us the beauty of the great waters of Lake Superior, ease of parking, super comfortable king bed, a walk in shower, super comfy towels and robes, and a sweet kitchen space that allows us to prepare and reheat food, brew coffee, and chill our cold drinks in the frig. The Windseeker group is from our understanding, a woman owned management group and they certainly tend to their role with diligence, quick responses, extra touches, bright smiles, and a kindness that is a joy to experience. We will return, and hope they put us in the weekend for 2025 for us to celebrate our anniversary once again, in a peaceful and restful place. Gratefully, Kathleen & Brian

My family and I were very happy with: the location, the great water view from the balcony, the attached bookstore (a must visit), everything you need in Bayfield being within walking distance (including the ferries to the Apostle Islands & the Saturday morning farmer's market), the long list of amenities in the apartment, the cleanliness of the apartment, easily accessible parking spaces, and the quick and thorough responses from the hosts. Some patrons at the bar next door were laughing & having fun a little loudly outside on Friday night when we were going to bed, but the sound machines that were available in each of the bedrooms easily took care of it for us. (Saturday night, the patrons were quiet, but we still enjoyed using the sound machines.) We needed help with the airbed and the hosts took care of it promptly. We would definitely stay here again!

Pearl and Jim are great hosts, very easygoing and always helpful. The apartment is the lower unit, exactly as described. From the great window in the main room to the wonderful deck, large bathroom, comfortable bedroom with plenty of closet and drawer space, everything worked well. The garden and lawn that lead down to a small private beach are beautifully landscaped. The apartment was spotless and comfortable.

The location was perfect for our trip and the space provided everything we needed.

We had a very relaxing stay at the cabin right on Lake Superior. The location was perfect to visit nearby Bayfield. The unit had everything we needed for a quick weekend getaway. The host had amazing communication and we look forward to staying in one of their properties in Bayfield next summer.

This place is a little slice of heaven on earth. The white cabin has old school charm with an unbeatable view of the bay + a nice patio & firepit. The bonus to this stay was the absolute SIZE of the property. There's everything from a huge open field with an apple tree, to several private beaches, a peaceful quarry, a boat launch, and a trail leading along the shoreline with plenty of benches to rest along the way & take it all in. Pictures don't do this place justice; it's a "see it to believe it" experience.

Very cute place to stay with everything you would need! There was plenty of free firewood, items for the grill, and kitchen supplies. Our stay was very peaceful. The cabin does have other cabins around but other guests were very quiet and respected the quiet hours after 10pm. Highly recommend for a long weekend get away.

Wonderful, peaceful cottage with access to a small private beach on Lake Superior. Great outdoors amenities including a charcoal grill and fire pit with wood provided.

It was exactly as I expected. Clean and comfortable. I was able to keep my dog there with us, and walk her along the beach. My kids loved it. What more can I ask for?

This location is the perfect spot to disconnect and relax, feels like home right away! The host was very responsive, welcoming and made a late check in easy! I was so grateful for the slow quiet mornings on the porch with a book and coffee in hand. I definitely plan to visit again.

This place is in a beautiful wooded area however, you are only five minutes from Bayfield Harbor. It was lovely to have a screened in porch in September . We also enjoyed going down to the harbor in our neighborhood and sit on the beach . We loved our stay so much. We ended up hiking in several locations up the highway to little sand bay and cornucopia..

This place is amazing! Gina is a wonderful host and the cabin has the most stunning view. It looks just like the photos on the listing. I went with a group of 5 of us in total and it was the perfect space. If you have a group of 6, someone would have to sleep on the couch because there are only enough beds for 5 people to be comfortable. The peaceful mornings on the deck are the best part! The only note that I had for improvement was that the floors inside were pretty sandy when we first arrived and could have been cleaner. Also, just a heads up for anyone reading this - the washer and dryer are in the little shed that is attached to the house, but you have to go out the front door in order to access it. There are also a lot of mice droppings inside the outdoor shed (no mouse sightings in the house!), but that’s probably because we went in October. We loved this place and hope to go back one day!
