What a lovely place to stay. Great location and wonderful view over the harbour. Would definitely recommend. Breakfast being included makes a massive difference too!

This rental is a separate house behind the owner’s residence. It is bright and spacious, clean and well equipped. Its location in the south part of Rotorua suited us well based on having a car and the activities we did while there.

We enjoyed 3 nights at Behind the hedge. Although other properties are near by,it’s very private with carefully placed screening. Loved the artistic touches, the beautiful bathroom, comfortable bed, outdoor seating and of course proximity to the beach! Also love the materials used for the build and the coffee table! Can’t fault it really. It was perfect for us. Thanks Jeff

The cottage is in a great location. It was smaller than expected and unfortunately we were unable to sit outside but otherwise the cottage was a great place for a relaxing vacation. Would recommend and stay there again. Thanks Sharon.

We had a wonderful stay at Kaimai Sunset B & B! The property is beautifully maintained, peaceful, and offers breathtaking views of the Kaimai Ranges which truly lives up to the name. The room was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Brenda and her partner were incredibly warm and welcoming, striking the perfect balance between hospitality and privacy. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches like the breakfast provisions. Our twin boys really enjoyed their playtime at their backyard and in the hobbit hole. It’s a perfect spot to unwind and explore the nearby sights. We’d love to return someday!

Great place to stay, gorgeous view n private (host can see your room but it doesn’t feel like they’re hovering over you). Driveway is steep but flat where you park n only a slight incline down the path to the room. Spa pool was empty so that was a little bit of a shame but it was summer n hot so, understandable. Would highly recommend this place!!!

Me and my partner had a beautiful stay at the wonderfully secluded kowhai house, loved the outside bath and stunning view of the kaimais, cant wait to come back didn’t wanna leave. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a luxury retreat.

Hayley was just an amazing host! She was so sweet and allowed us to check in a little early to get out of the crazy rain. The place is clean and cozy. You can tell she paid a lot of attention to detail by placing lots of brochures in the house manual. The bed was comfortable but the pillows felt even better! The airbnb is conveniently located in the center of everything!! All the things we did (duck tours, te pa tu maori cultural experience and redwood tree walk and rotorua skyline) were only a 7-10 min drive away and the neighborhood felt very nice and safe when we took a stroll. We hoped to do more and explore but unfortunately the rain hindered us. We hope to come back in the future to truly explore rotorua!

Such a beautiful stay. The hosts were lovely & left fruit & other snacks for us to enjoy which was such a thoughtful touch. The bed was so comfy & the home was very clean. We had everything we needed with the beach close by. Thanks so much !

private place ,this tiny house is very clean , Kerris and Chris supply fruit ,egg ,juice ,milk ...and many things for breakfast .it s not too far from there to centre ,we will come again in the future ,high recommence +++

Absolutely treasured our time at Michele's place. Everything about it was well considered and we felt right at home. The bed was very comfortable and we loved talking to the wandering Pukeko out the window. Such a relaxing and peaceful experience. Would stay here again!

Absolutely perfect for us. Get escape away from people and just super relaxing watching the ocean views. The Bach is the typical kiwi bach very easy to feel at home. We will definitely stay again if we can.

Perfect base for us to explore Rotorua, Jessica was very proactive and make sure we had everything we needed as well as giving us our privacy. The summerhouse is lovely and has everything you could near, it’s also lovely to have the hot tub to come back to after a long day of exploring. We would definitely recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had an amazing time at the fat fish over the Easter weeekend. We sadly didn’t get the full Waihi Beach experience as it bucketed down with rain most of our stay until the very last day (of course 😅) but still enjoyed the beautiful pristine accomodation. Jeanette was a star the whole time, very attentive, friendly and accomodating to all our needs. Recommend to anyone contemplating booking this listing, I know my husband and I will definitely be coming back again, hopefully in beach exploring weather. Oh my gosh the outside bath was definitely a highlight for me, even with the rain hitting my face constantly it created a tropical feel. The whole place was stunning, cute, and intimate. There’s a market every Sunday I believe, that we were lucky enough to catch, and it’s not too far from location. It isn’t a very large market but they have a lot of cute trinkets and good food, who doesn’t love a market? If you’re looking for a place in Waihi Beach to stay then this is your spot. A 10!

Really nicely decorated place in a quiet neighborhood. Loads of books in the bookself. Within walking distance to the main road in the mount. Thanks for the wonderful stay! :)

Quintessential kiwi bach. It's rustic which is reflected in the price. Great check-in and absolutely stunning location. So lucky to have been able to bring my dog. Lovely gesture to provide wine and chocolate biscuits.

This was one of the best experiences I have had in an Air Bnb in a while. we had clear communication, simple instructions and the house was not only lovely and clean, it was well equipped with everything you would need. 10/10 and we would stay there again in a heartbeat 😊
