What a spot! We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay at Adriano's cottage! We were looking for a spot on Lake Superior, a short drive from Sault Ste Marie, to enjoy sunsets and bonfires - this was perfect. The cottage itself is super cozy, and is extremely well-equipped. I was grateful to find a hair dryer, as I had forgotten mine, and the discovery of serving trays, allowed us to do up snack buffets. Check-in could not have been easier, and we appreciate Adriano's communication leading up to our arrival. The views out of the huge living room and kitchen windows are amazing, but once you walk down to the water's edge, you will be in awe! The sunsets!! The large fire pit is nestled along the shore, steps away from the crystal clear water! Bring water shoes as the beach area is rocky, but totally accessible. The wind on two days, had the lake resembling the Caribbean - so beautiful! We absolutely recommend booking a stay here - you will feel immediately at home! Enjoy!

We stayed in ‘The Loon’ cabin and it was just what we were looking for. It felt like my husband and I got to go to summer camp! We loved being able to kayak the lake and seeing beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We enjoyed the privacy of the cabin. It’s also very close to some really cool stuff; Crisp lighthouse and the mouth of the 2 hearted river. Oh and the delicious blueberries across the street! I could go on and on, we really liked it here and will be back!

The location is beautiful. I miss it already. Roads were rough, but you get a little more used to them after a while. The place was extremely clean. The beds were new memory foam. Maybe a little on the softer side, but were perfect for me. Amenities are minimal, so pack accordingly, bring soap. It was a nice mix of roughing it and comfort. At night you can hear the whip-poor-will calling. The rock hounding in the area is fantastic. Agates are few and far between, but that is what makes the hunt exciting. Steve was very friendly and helpful. His dogs were sweet and like to greet you. I will definitely return.

Awesome location, and awesome property! The home is well stocked and actually has good cutlery so you can actually prepare decent meals here! So many air bnbs lack that, but not this one! Most basics for cooking were also stocked and there were afew condiments in the fridge. The sauna is top notch, and probably my favorite part of the trip.

GREAT is an understatement! Breathtaking views of the St. Mary's River and I'd think a photographer, wildlife enthusiast, or artist would really really love to be back there. I'd like to come back with just 1 other person or a couple and really relax and enjoy the place. We were road running alot for our hobbies and barely felt like we got to enjoy it like we should have. The setting is beyond serene, freighters passing by, nice beach with wildlife and walking, birds, and tranquility.

We have never been that far north and the views were breath taking. Far enough out of the City to be quiet and peaceful, but close enough to go and watch the hounds play. The cottage is small and quaint with a deck you don’t want to leave. We will hopefully be back.

We loved every single minute ❣️❣️❣️ It was our son’s first camping experience & he loved it!! Outhouse was the cleanest one I’ve ever seen. Thank you for hosting us! Hope to return in the summer when we can swim!!

This place is such a gem! You can tell Armando and Sylvia have taken lots of care to make this a comfortable and warm place for hosting guests. There is no ending to the number of places you can sit and watch the gorgeous sunsets. The place itself was super clean and is equipped with all amenities (except wifi, but who really wants wifi when you're trying to disconnect from work life). I would recommend bringing some extra blankets to lounge on couches. Armando was a great host and easy to get a hold off. My family and I had an excellent and super memorable time at the cottage and would would definitely recommend this place to others.

We really enjoyed our stay, the view and the hosts left out lots of little extras like breakfast for the first morning, coffee, tea, eggs, milk, as well as a little for the evening like wine, beer and homemade brownies, so delicious! They were also very responsive Will definitely recommend them to others and come back

Breathtaking views for a lovely winter getaway! Plentiful surroundings for snowshoeing along the lake, through the wooded yard and enjoying deer sightings. Hugh was always responsive and friendly.

This place was homey and comforable. The view of the water was breathtaking!!!

We had such a great time staying at Ken’s place! The only thing that would have made this trip better is if the skies were clear during the days we stayed so we could have fully enjoyed the amazing view of the sunset and stars that the property offers! Our dogs loved staying here as well and they had lots of room to run around and play freely. Our time here was so peaceful and such a nice getaway and we can’t wait to come back!

Amazing spot with a beautiful location right on Lake Superior. The lake and beach views were incredible, and each day brought different weather which made it even more special. Great birdwatching as we saw ducks, flickers, wood peckers, bald eagles, shorebirds, mergansers, bandits of juncos and countless more. Beachcombing was peaceful, and watching migratory birds land was unforgettable. The cabin felt really grounding. It was quiet and serene but still close enough to Sault Ste. Marie and White River for day trips. The host was friendly and super helpful with hiking and sightseeing tips. It was cold in mid-spring, but honestly, that added to the beauty. We would absolutely stay here again.

It’s exactly as advertised , close to beach, quiet , clean easy check in and check out. Would recommend . Will definitely book again .
