Enjoy our holiday cottage on the edge of the Lake District. Many lakes, fells and beaches are easily drivable. Birkrigg common isn’t far and gives lovely views. The pub’s a 5-minute walk away and serves food most evenings There are buses to both Barrow and Ulverston and beyond at the end of the road. Ulverston is famous for its many festivals which attract lots of tourists. Barrow is only a 10-minute drive away for shops or if you want to go a little further Walney nature reserves are lovely.

Superb semi detached cottage with two bedrooms, large garden & private parking within the grounds just 2 miles from Cartmel & Newby Bridge at the South end of Lake Windermere. The dining room has great views with a pair of French doors in to the living room which has a large double sofa bed & another pair of doors in to the garden.. Very close to town centre it has own entrance with a key safe, so arrival time can be totally flexible, and there is private parking. We use a Professional cleaning service to ensure the place sparkles. Much better than a hotel room!
