Easily one of the best Air BnB we have stayed in. Beautiful surroundings, perfect base for hiking in the Lakes. Room & bathroom clean and comfortable. 10 min walk to pub, shop & chippy. Jean was lovely & very friendly, her playful dog was an added bonus along with the chickens wandering around. Will definitely return.

Honestly a perfect stay. Room faultless. Warm. Gorgeous bed and bedding. Fantastic shower. 20 min walk into Kendal town centre. Would def stay again!

Best place we have ever stayed!! Just wow!! Words on a review do not do this place justice! We went just two women walking in the lakes with our Labrador and felt so safe and well looked after here it made us feel so at home! After having an accident to the head on one of my walks on the first day the staff were so accommodating and checked in on us and ensured we were all ok going above and beyond. beautiful clean tidy and the bed was so comfy! Anything you needed for the stay was provided. The shower was so luxurious. Was even provided doggy treats and food mat, doggy paw towels in the porch, and dogs very welcome in the beautiful bistro for all meals! The food at the bistro! We have never tasted such amazing food. Location is perfect for all your needs in the lakes! And lastly I want to thank THE YAN and all their staff you can tell every single one puts their wholehearted effort into it and it shows through and through to anyone staying here! 5***’s from us and we will be back.

Overall our stay was pleasant, we were central to the town centre and minutes away from shops and pubs. The room was clean, warm and comfortable.

The hotel was exactly what we expected and hoped for - great location by the lake with boating & cafés, easy 10 minute walk into town and short drive to fabulous walks or we could even have done walks direct from the hotel. Checkin was friendly, the room was very comfortable and it was nice to have a bar in which to end an evening out.

This was a very relaxing stay, really enjoyed the place and the hot tub was an added bonus. Host was very active in replying to my messages and questions. I would book again

This place was a fabulous find, so close to the centre of beautiful Hawkshead and everything the village has to offer. Thank you Jane for letting me into the property earlier than check in time....it meant I was able to get to a wedding on time without having to get ready in a public loo 😂 very greatful for that and especially greatful to your fabulous cleaning team who worked even harder to make that happen for me. The breakfast looked as though it would have been lovely, but the bed was so comfy that we slept right through the delivery 😂 Truly wish I'd booked another night and would definitely stay again. If i am coming to Lake District again , I’ll definitely choose dozy deer again . It was so lovely , clean and cozy. It was nearby with the shops and the everything is accessible . They also provide something to grab at the pantry before we started our day and it was perfect 🤩 the room is suitable for family , it was very spacious and nice.

My son and I had a glorious break at Bank Ground Farm. The weather was typically Cumbrian, but we felt so at home this just enforced a much needed rest and down time. We were very comfortable, Jonathon and his staff were so friendly and accommodating, and our fabulous veggie breakfasts were the cherry on the cake. Thankyou so much guys, we'll be back!
