The Tarka Suite

We live in a quiet location situated on the outskirts of Barnstaple, tucked away in a quiet residential area. Nearest amenities are approx 15 min walk. “The Tarka suite”is made up of 3 seperate rooms plus a covered garden room with electric points. There is a king sized bed, 2 seater sofa, a small dining area and small well equipped kitchen area which includes a std fridge, a ninja twin drawer acti fry and single hob. Crockery, pans and cutlery are provided. Use of hot tub at extra cost.

Bus station a 5 minute walk & train station 15 minute. An 8 minute drive to the hospital also. It is suitable for four people maximum, the Queen bed splits to make twin beds upon request in the first bedroom. This 200 year old barn has been lovingly renovated to create a modern, open plan apartment that provides spacious accommodation for two. Its whitewashed stone walls and bare timbers retain the charm of the original building and two full length windows open onto a private patio and garden and flood the apartment with sunlight. Furnished with a mixture of the modern and the vintage, the walls are hung with original artworks and these elements combine to create a unique and beautiful retreat.

Beautiful guest house just outside Umberleigh in North Devon, in the heart of the Taw Valley. Our guest house is situated atop a hill with panoramic views of the surrounding scenery and historic Tarka Trail. Fully self-contained building, patio and parking area. Welcome pack of continental breakfast Items. Dog friendly, however walled garden is open on one side. So please don’t leave your dog unattended. Bring your own dog bed. Recycling bins are outside to the side of the large black dustbins . Separate containers for paper/cardboard. Glass and plastic.

Coombe Farm Goodleigh-Tin Can Cottage

Situated in a quiet and remote farm setting, our beautiful Tin Can Cottage is a 1959 Tradewind Airstream caravan that has been meticulously restored and redecorated. This is upmarket glamping. Inside you will find everything you need to make your stay a special one including all self catering needs.  The space is suitable for a couple.  Well behaved dogs welcome but not permitted on furniture & guests must clean-up after their dogs. The space is not fenced in.
