2nd visit and will be back, lovely and clean and peaceful, everything you could ever need.

A spick and span home, close to where I needed to be for my visit. My first time of actually staying in an AirBnB, I was tired both days so I was glad to have the comfy bed and quiet room to retire to on my arrival and after my meetings the following day. The host seems to be a well educated, multi-skilled, film buff with excellent taste - I felt safe and comfortable. I was glad I took my hot water bottle with me (my old bones need extra comfort these days) though I wouldn't be surprised if one would be available if required for anyone travelling more lightly.

Martin & Lisa were incredibly friendly, helpful and charming hosts. We were treated with scones, jam and cream after a long drive, which was really appreciated. Our family loved staying at the cottage, we felt right at home and comfortable. The property was dog friendly too which was perfect for us with our 2 pooches! We also made great friends with their gorgeous pooch Nelson 💖 We would recommend staying here and will be back ourselves!

Very light, comfortable and elegant room at the top of the house. Everything you need to make yourself comfortable and at home. An excellent choice for an overnight stop on a cycling trip. Nice breakfast too.

Unfortunately, I've not met Kevin as I was only staying for the night, but we've been communicating through text - he was very friendly and helpful. The place wasn't difficult to find, thanks to Kevin's early instructions and room was well ready (spotless!) when I've arrived. Breakfast (coffee, cereal, and milk) was also available, and it was easy to access the wifi as well. I had a great night staying there! 💕

From the beautiful scent that fills the house to thoughtfully curated artwork, Weatherstone House is not your typical self-catering accommodation. The house has an opulent, relaxed vibe and the great location make this a unique and wonderful place to stay. Enjoyable evenings spent by the fire and an eclectic mix of vinyl made for an unforgettable weekend away. Our thanks to Dan for his help throughout the booking process, this was a family holiday we'll remember for a long time.

Loved my stay at Wendy’s beautiful Exeter room. Everything was clean and perfectly comfortable. The room had everything you could need and overlooked a gorgeous back garden. It was handy being so close to the train station and Wendy was super accommodating and helpful. Highly recommended!!

Great place in a good location. Host was friendly and welcoming. There is a slight draft that comes into the bedroom that did make it quite cold at night and in the mornings but otherwise would recommend this place

From booking the stay to the end Kate was clear and precise. A lovely apartment , very clean and very cozy. Location is very close to everything and we were surrounded by lovely pubs and restaurants. Will Definitely come again. Thank you

Ruth was exceptionally kind and helpful in the lead up to our visit - making adjustments to check in for us and local recommendations. The apartment was characterful and homely - a perfect base. Would recommend and stay again!

Stephen’s place is a self contained studio, consisting of a double bedroom with a large tv, bathroom/toilet, kitchen with all amenities and another tv. There is a small seating area outside. The place was very clean when we arrived. There are two electric heaters, keeping the place warm. Stephen left for us a bottle of wine and two bottles of water in a fridge. For breakfast we had a selection of four small boxes of cereals and a bottle of milk.

Lovely accommodation in beautiful surroundings. Even more spacious than photos suggest. It was also wonderful to be able to do walks right from the property. Friendly hosts who greeted us and popped by to check we were OK and if they could help in any way. Baked treats and tea supplies when we arrived were a lovely touch. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This was our 2nd stay at Chris and Johns and it was just as lovely. Chris is a wonderful host and very approachable and easy to talk to. Firscott is immaculate and has everything you need and with the lovely touch of tea coffee and milk etc and everything for breakfast. Its in a very quiet area with great views so is very relaxing just what we needed and within easy walking distance down to town. Thankyou again and we are looking forward to our next stay very soon

A fabulous place to stay. One of the best air bnb’s we have stayed in. We were greeted on arrival and made to feel very welcome. So quiet and peaceful just as we wanted, beautiful surroundings, and immaculately clean. Breakfast items too were amazing and everything as we wished for. Would love to stay again.

Thank you for a lovely stay in a quiet and peaceful corner of Exeter. The annex had absolutely everything I needed for a few days away. Some lovely walks nearby and close to the city centre - couldn't ask for more!! Would recommend to anyone.

This was an idyllic place to stay. Gorgeous old farmhouse, a few minutes walk from the coast path and spectacular views. Rachel and her partner were great hosts, really helpful with lots of local information. The room in the farmhouse was lovely, the claw foot bath a nice added touch. The breakfasts were really good and all in all, I can’t see how it could have been better. A perfect stay.

My boyfriend and I visited with two friends, so we booked the entire barn. Helen was there to meet us when we arrived and offered us a tea and coffee with biscuits. We found the barn to be spotlessly clean. The soft furnishings and interior design were lovely quality and comfortable. The beds are lovely and comfortable. The quality and choice of breakfast was amazing and they catered for a vegetarian and gluten free. Helen was a great host who couldn't do enough for us. The grounds are pretty and peaceful with lovely views of the Countryside. The photos dont do this place justice. We really couldnt rate this place highly enough. Thanks Jen

What a great find. Julie and Graham's Smithy is really lovely, just as described and with Julie's added touches. These included a small display of flowers and homemade cake and chocolate brownies. Very welcome after a long journey to this beautiful location. The Smithy has everything you want for a peaceful stay. It is decorated to a very high standard and has a beautifully made wooden staircase to the mezzanine bedroom. The garden of the main house, which has a small stream running through it, is beautiful with many mature shrubs and trees and at this time of the year Primroses and Bluebells. Guests are encouraged to use the seating area by the summer house near the stream. Julie and Graham are great to talk too and gave us very good advice about the local area. One thing was The Bell pub in Chittlehampton. We had a very good evening meal there and owners are lovely people. The Smithy is great for short break and we hope to return in the near future.

It's difficult to 'say a few words' in the space allotted because from the welcome to the assistance with our departure, everything was perfection. I have owned a historic inn, am a participant in the Air B&B in the US and a world traveler and can say with confidence that our stay at The Cider Barn was the best Air B&B experience we've ever had. Louise is the consummate hostess and excels at gracious hospitality. She is a concierge who is not only knowledgeable but makes the experience happen. She generously provided transportation to and from a wedding reception for us as we found the small lane driving at night quite intimidating as Americans. Even finding the 'hidden gem' was a challenge for us but well worth it and we boosted our learning curve as time went on, all too quickly. The property is exquisite; it easily qualifies for submission in Architectural Digest. We are deeply grateful to Louise, our hostess, and any guest is fortunate to stay here.

Jenny was the perfect host , friendly , communicative and flexible . The listing if anything underplayed what was a fantastic facility . In addition the breakfast was superb - just right before a day on the golf course. If I was in the area again I would certainly want to stay at Jenny’s Airbnb.

I arrived tired after driving through lashing rain. I was made to feel immensely welcome. Everything was very fine indeed and Rachel had put a lot of thought into providing everything needed for a comfortable stay.

Attentive from start to finish. Lots of communication and good directions. Relaxing and safe area for us and our dog. Lots of roaming room. Charlie the owners dog very friendly. Great big breakfast every day and a lot of effort made to ensure everything was ok but not overbearing. Catered for allergies and dietary needs. Lovely huge bed and separate bathroom which had the advertised spa bath… plus a large walk-in shower…unfortunately we did not use the bath. Relaxing place to stay away from the major towns so will need a vehicle to get about. Good base to travel from. Will definitely consider returning and recommending to others. Stayed with Nicky and Si for a couple of days in Swimbridge and I think the most tranquil AirBnB I’ve stayed at yet! Breakfasts were continental and lots of choice, and Nicky was great in responding quickly to queries on check in and the room. The room was clean and well put together overlooking a great view of the church.
