Beautiful Place, very clean and a good location for our needs, would stay there again

The house was easy to find and as described. On arrival the house was clean and tidy, and the welcome pack most acceptable. The host was very helpful, and easily contacted. The 1 very minor problem we had was sorted very quickly. We would certainly recommend the property and would have no hesitation in using the property again.

Seldom is where we stay one of the highlights of our trip, but this townhouse definitely was. It was absolutely amazing. It was warm and comfortable after coming in from our chilly all day excursions. The beds were comfortable, the house extremely clean and the amenities absolute perfection.

Great clean, spacious family home, felt at ease, very comfortable, enjoyed our stay. Great value for money. Completed Spennymoor parkrun and visited Durham for Rugby.

We stayed here for a couple of nights to visit my elderly father in law, after a long drive it was a lovely place to stay, clean with everything you could need. The garden is completely dog proof which was important to us and it was great to sit out there in the sunshine. There’s a great walk just at the end of the street for Dogs, the village has a great selection of shops/ bakery/restaurants. We’ll be booking again for our next visit

Fantastic place to stay. Alison is great to communicate with and gets back quickly and is super-helpful. Her very decorated home thoughtfully caters to guests with labels and signs to help. The decor is idiosyncratic and interesting - the one thing I'd say is if you've got a boisterous young child who makes you anxious bouncing around, this may not be the place for you as there are lots of breakable artefacts and decorations on the surfaces. But otherwise it really feels like you're in someone's home and she makes you feel at home. It's a great location for a coastal trip around Northumberland or into Newcastle. You're just minutes away from breath-taking views of the headland and sea at Seaton Sluice and the nearby Waterford Arms does good pub food.

The home was warm and cosy, with plenty of space for the 4 of us. A well equipped kitchen let us prep meals, and a spacious lounge + dining room let us relax after a busy day. We wouldnt hesitate to come back next time we visit.

Our stay was really perfect and exact what we needed, the room, cleanliness, layout, enclosed garden, everything with our accommodation was amazing and looked exactly as advertised if not nicer. The bar and restaurant was great for us, we had drinks on numerous occasions and snacks and last night we ordered a takeout which is a good idea and made it so we could make the most of the cabin. We went on walks and the grounds were great, we seen the pool also which looked like a great asset for the summer, the animals we seen were also beautiful. It feels like we have found a gem, we often go Center Parcs and it reminded us of that on a much smaller scale. Would definitely go again.

Gorgeous lodge with lots of things to do in the surrounding area! Mark was a very friendly and proactive host who messaged to make sure everything was ok. Thank you for letting us stay in your wonderful lodge!

Denise was extremely helpful and approachable. She took the time to send a few messages to ensure we were clear on check in. Denise welcomed us and showed us to the lodge. The lodge was super clean, well equipped and Denise even supplied the basic condiments, tea, coffee, juice, milk with some welcome biscuits thrown in! The lodge was also dog friendly. The kids loved their bed room and we were all very comfortable. We had a great stay and the lodge more than met our needs. We plan to return.

Lovely stay, shepherds hut was well equipped and had all you needed and was nice and cosy inside… outdoor space was also great and we loved the hot tub and bbq facilities which were provided. Gillan was a great host and showed us around, but privacy was not invaded which we liked. Would definitely recommend a stay here

This property was beautiful, and as described. I would go as far as saying it exceeded our expectations. It felt like a home from home. We visited with our dog and a lovely touch was the dog basket with blankets, towels and treats. It was spotlessly clean and had all the little things that you seem to forget when going away for a few days (salt, pepper, cleaning products). The host was very attentive and sent us so much information beforehand (where to visit, eat, local shops etc.) The property was situated in a quiet area with a little pond opposite us, it was lovely to see the ducks plodding along throughout the day. I would definitely recommend anyone who wants a few days relaxation, sight seeing and peace and quiet to give this property a go!

Absolutely stunning cottage and great pool and jacuzzi! A stunning peaceful location with great local pub and amazing walks and things to do (but you may need to travel a bit like we did to see the fantastic surrounding area) Highly recommended to others and we will be returning. We had a lovely weekend staying at Serendipity to visit the Christmas markets in York. The place has everything we needed and more and Rachael had kindly left the heating on for us so we were super cosy when we arrived in the evening too. Very comfortable bed with great pillows and a great power shower - the all important things! Also a lovely extra touch with some treats for us and the dogs, plus milk, tea and coffee. We cannot thank Simon and Lynne enough for the incredible stay that we had with them at their magical cottage. Every aspect of our experience exceeded our expectations. From the amazing communication, warm welcome, and truly breathtaking accommodation, we immediately felt at home and in relaxation mode. Everything was spotlessly clean and beautifully curated. The hot tub was immaculately cared for and offered welcome relaxation. The beds were so comfy and the bathrooms spotlessly clean. We simply couldn’t fault it. Thank you so very much for making our stay such a memorable one.

We are first time visitors in Skipton and glad we stayed with Mel and Jason's place. It was near to the place we were meeting with friends so that comes handy with us getting uber to and from the place. We were out much of the day so it's just nice to come home to a cozy place. Mel and Jason were responsive and timely with their reminders. They also offered some bread, eggs and butter which was thoughtful.

We've just returned from a short stay at my happy hounds. Our glamping pod Hugo was absolutely perfect for our stay. It had everything we needed and was absolutely spotless considering these are dog friendly. The welcome pack was also a nice touch with all quality items. We have 2 dogs one that is very nervous, he settled in well as it was peaceful and private and having ample space for them to run and play at the pod and the secure dog fields, these are a great facility for anyone traveling with a dog. It's only a short drive to find local amenities and finding my happy hounds was easy with Google maps being accurate. The communication from Harry was excellent with plenty of information and help if needed. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and have already started talking of booking again for the future. Beautiful cottage 5 mins from beach. Very clean and tidy, milk in fridge on arrival for a much needed cuppa. Good communication from Nick. Would stay again.

We had the best time so much so that whilst we were still there we have already booked to come back in August. Jade and James were extremely friendly and great with the kids. They went above and beyond to make our time there special. Amazing views and lovely waking up to see the animals in the fields. The kids loved seeing the farm dogs. Very peaceful and private. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely wonderful place. If you want peace and off grid, this ticks all the boxes. The cottage itself is extremely well equipped and the views are stunning. As a solo female traveller I also felt completely safe. It’s probably not for you if you’re not a confident driver or need to be near amenities, but for me with wonderful walks from the doorstep, it’s just perfect. This was my second visit, there will be a third and even a fourth! Thanks
