We are located in a quiet and safe suburb home with parking for many vehicles. The streetcar (trolly) is only 4 miles away which travels to the city of New Orleans; the city that never sleeps! My home is equipped with a coffee pot, coffee, creamer, sugar and other sweetners. I also offer coke,diet coke,sprite and bottle water. There's a microwave, crock pot and a refrigerator, as well as utensils, dishes and other essentials for your convenience. We are in walking distance to a convenience store, a daiquiri shop and the Chalmette National Battlefield. Within a half mile radius there is the famous Rocky & Carlo's restaurant, a hospital, grocery, Wal Mart, laundromat, post office, banks, casino, local hot spots, and a park just to name a few!

Walk out the back door and you're on the bayou where you can enjoy fishing, crabbing and take in nature of the south with visits from the local wildlife such as egrets, herrings, ducks, turtles ,alligator and bald eagles. We have a private launch on Bayou Terrebonne for your free use, or if you prefer the Pointe aux Chenes or Cocodrie marinas are just 20 minutes away. Sleeps 6 with fully furnished kitchen, and ample parking space for boats and cars. Fish cleaning station and crab boiling and fish frying equipment provided. Pets allowed for $40 fee. Free wifi. Our retreat is an hour and 30 minutes from New Orleans.
