Wonderful place for a long weekend with friends. Spacious, well-equipped, clean house in the “gate” of the hills with breath-taking view when you wake up in the morning. We spent hours watching the warming fire in the fireplace as well as the camp fire in the backyard. Nice sorroundings for hiking in the forests, bigger cities are close, but it’s a perfect place to have a rest during a relaxing weekend with friendly and helpful hosts.

Jan’s place was the perfect getaway for our trip. They created a wonderful environment to relax in nature, surrounded by lovely animals. It’s especially great for kids—plenty of space to run around and spend time with the animals. There was a slide and a trampoline, which my 3-year-old son absolutely loved. The cabin was super cozy and had everything we needed. The kitchen was nearly complete (though a kettle would be a great addition), and the bathroom was spotless. The beds and sheets were also very clean, which made our stay even more comfortable. I highly recommend this peaceful and relaxing spot. It’s well worth both the drive and the cost. If we’re ever in the area again, we’ll definitely be back. Jan’s partner was also incredibly helpful and kind—she even helped us find a nearby medical center, which we really appreciated

Had a great stay, very cozy home. Host Pavol was very responsive and had useful local recommendations. If you're planning the vacation in this area during the winter, make sure you have a reliable and prepared for accidents (such as a flat tire) car.

Ideálne, ak potrebujete nachvíľu vypadnúť z ruchu veľkomesta. Dog friendly a zároveň v krásnom prostredí, so skvelým vybavením. Hostiteľ Ján bol veľmi ústretový čo sa týkalo našich požiadaviek, veľmi priateľský a pripravený so všetkým poradiť. Rovnako tak aj jeho partnerka. Veľmi milí ľudia, ktorí sa o svoju farmu s láskou starajú. Prostredie je ako malý raj na zemi. Nádherná príroda, množstvo zvieratiek na farme, sliepky, zajačik, pávy, alpaky, somárik, ovce, baran, pštrosy, bernské salašnícke psy a maďarská vyžla a kocúrik Murko. Moja 6 ročná dcéra bola nadšená. Zvieratká boli tiež priateľské. Kŕmenie mláďatka ovečky Meme priamo z fľašky bolo naj, rovnako sme si užili aj jazdu na koni. V lete je k dispozícii aj bazén, čo je úžasné. Isto sa ešte vrátime, cítili sme sa výborne. Byť hlboko v lese a mať pritom silnú wifi a Netflix, to je paráda :) Boli sme ubytovaní v chate Karkulka, bola úžasná, nič nám nechýbalo. Ďakujeme za príjemný čas, nech sa vám darí, ste super. Budeme odporúčať.

We enjoyed every minute at Viera's amazing farm with my wife and daughter, staying with her and her family. The destination was well at reach by our family car and we got a true sense of emerging into Slovakian rural life. A lot of hidden gems to visit around specially for hikers and cyclists; but if you just want to relax a bit and walk around staying in touch with farm animals and lifestyle, the place offers a peaceful retreat. Hosts were always there to help with anything and provided us whatever we wanted. We are already thinking to be back there for another vacation and get a taste of their fresh homemade cheese.

We had an incredible stay! Everything about our experience was top-notch. The accommodation was not only comfortable and super clean, but also beautifully furnished and equipped with everything we needed for a perfect stay. Gabriela was absolutely amazing – accommodating, friendly, and very welcoming. Overall, we can’t recommend this Airbnb enough! It truly deserves 5 stars in every aspect. Thank you to the host for making our stay so enjoyable. We would definitely love to return in the future.

Hostitelia sú veľmi milí. Komunikácia úplne bez problémov a bolo vidieť, že im záleží aby sa hostia cítili príjemne. V domčeku je pekne, čisto. Bola som v domčeku aj s dvoma kóliami a priestor nám stačil, veľmi som ocenila aj park hneď za záhradou a tiché okolie. Pri domčeku je aj možnosť si opekať a posedieť v záhrade pri príjemnom osvetlení. Ráno ma budil štebot vtákov a presvitajúce slnečné lúče, no úplná romantika. Vonkajšia sprcha je počas chladnejšieho počasia skôr pre otužilcov a keď je teplejšie, je osviežujúca :) V záhrade sa prechádzajú sliepky a možnosť dať si domáce vajíčka ma naozaj veľmi potešila. Bol to naozaj príjemný pobyt.

It was a great experience for us, we wanted to be out in the nature, in a calm and peaceful place, and this farm is exactly that! Unfortunatelly the weather wasn't the best, but we got to see the animals and the foggy weather was somewhat romantic. Matej is a really nice guy, he helped us when we got stuck in the mud in the town (thank you Matej again!) and was overall very friendly and open. We stayed at the cabin, which was great, during the morning I got to see sheeps, ducks and even a rabbit from the cabin's window, it was wonderful!

Tastefully designed cosy place with a great Mountain View - morning coffee with that view was a real treat. House if fully functional for comfortable long stays. If you love mountains, this is a perfect base for exploring Velka Fatra and Nízke Tatry mountains. The host - Filip, friendly and proactive. Highly recommended!

Everything was as advised and the instructions were very clear. Its cozy and if you want a private stay in nature that comes with its limitation related to toilet comfort and limited availability of drinkable water, than this is a great choice. We enjoyed the views and location, I suppose its even better during summer when its not freezing cold outside at night to use the terrace. It feels very cozy inside, you basically have every basic you might expect in the kitchen. Might be a little challenging to get by the cabin with regular city car, especially during winter season.

Nagyon kényelmes és okos megoldások vannak a házban. Egy túristaútvonal mentén van, de csak elvétve jön valaki. A ház melletti tisztáson láttunk őzeket, arra ébredtem, hogy egy mókus néz be az ablakon. Digitális detoxnak kiváló, mert nincs konnektor :) érdemes tényleg vízálló cipőben megközelíteni, mert a házhoz vezető úton folyt le a víz, pedig eső nem esett.

Farma u Jana predstavuje dokonalý únik od ruchu mesta. Situovaná je pri lesíku, na farme je veľa zvierat, krásne výhľady, priestory sú čisté. Privítajú vás aj so psíkom. Hostitelia sú neskutočne priateľskí a pohostinní. Komunikácia bola bezproblémová a rýchla. Rozhodne odporúčam.

Byliśmy tu kolejny już raz i jak zwykle się nie zawiedliśmy! Miejsce świetne, bardzo mili i ciepli Gospodarze, odpowiadający na wszelkie nasze potrzeby. W apartamencie czuliśmy się, jak w domu. Przyjaźnie urządzony, czysty, zadbany. Niedaleko znajduje się wiele stoków narciarskich, które polecali Gospodarze. W apartamencie jest miejsce na suszenie sprzętu narciarskiego, dart i cymbergaj na wspólne wieczory. Na terenie ośrodka są miłe atrakcje dla dzieci: huśtawka, w lato boisko do piłki nożnej, kosz do koszykówki. Gorąco polecam to miejsce! Na prawdę warto tu przyjechać i poczuć tę przemiłą atmosferę:)

Josef’s place was impeccably clean and so cozy! It was perfect for our family of 5. We loved the coffee maker. His mom welcomed us and was so attentive . We really enjoyed chatting with her and her ski recommendations. I can tell they are a nice family that takes pride in the region and the accommodation. I hope we can come back!

My 7-year-old daughter was absolutely thrilled with our time on the farm and the chance to interact with the animals (and honestly, so was I!). You can freely walk into the enclosures, feed and pet the animals without any worry of being butted or bitten. There are incredibly cute and friendly dogs running around the property — cuddling them was pure joy for a city dweller like me. It’s a shame we only stayed for one day, but we’ll gladly come back!
