Me and my family stayed the weekend. Lindsey s was very helpful and willing to answer all questions. The home was absolutely beautiful, the scenery was beautiful! The home included everything you would possibly need on the trip. It’s walking distance from the river but given its low, it was very pretty nonetheless. ☺️

Lois’ home was just as described and perfect for what we needed. She was helpful, gave us great recommendations, and communicated well. We would definitely stay again!

This was our third year in a row renting this home for a business trip. The home is great and the area is peaceful. Isaiah is a wonderful host and always so responsive!

What a great place to stay. When we arrived it was already after dark and there were deer bedded in the yard which was really cool to see. The house was clean and the updates to it were a perfect fit. Our outing was actually taking us to Kerrville, but this home in Bandera was only a beautiful 30 minute ride away. The hot tub was great although the weather was not completely cooperative so our enjoyment of it was limited. Aside from that the value of the rental was incredible in my opinion. I think my favorite thing was that in each of the bathrooms, there were either heat lamps or heat fans in the ceiling above, so when you got out of the shower you weren't freezing. The split thermostat was a bonus also. I would 100% stay here again if I am back in the area. The hosts were excellent at responding timely and more than accommodating, even after we forgot an item after checking out, they were kind enough to open the property for us to retrieve it. Top notch listing and hosts.

Cathy was a great host. The house was very comfortable and perfect for us. Nice surroundings and enjoyed seeing deer on the property and listening to the birds. Cathy made great recommendations for entertainment and food in Bandera which we did and they were both memorable for our family experiences. I would highly recommend if you are looking for local experiences.

Bruce and Sharon were amazing. They provided us with everything we needed and more. They showed us around town and gave us special places of interest. Way more than we expected. I will definitely recommend their place and would use it again.

Had an excellent time at Sonia’s place. Walkable river access, dog friendly and kid friendly. Had a small issue with the hot water heater that was immediately taken care of. We hiked at hill country state park and garner, gorgeous drives, and close to downtown. She was very communicative, we will absolutely return in the future. Thanks for having us!

Loved our stay at CiCi’s home! The place was everything as advertised and we felt right at home. Cici even had Kolaches waiting for us when we arrived. Quiet neighborhood with deer roaming around in the morning and evening. We feel like Cici is our friend now. Great place to stay! Thanks for everything CiCi!

Carol’s place was perfect for a stay at Tapatio Springs Golf Resort. Carol was a GREAT host and was extremely accommodating to us. We will definitely be back!

Condo was as described and very clean. Enjoyed our stay.

Awesome place very relaxing !

This is the perfect place to get away. Wake up yo a TON of wildlife roaming the property and sit back to relax. We will come back here as this was a perfect way to wind down.

We loved being back at this cabin for the second year in a row. Perfect for our little family. Our kids loved the access to the river and the fenced backyard was perfect for us to feel at peace while the kids and the dog played outside! Beautiful views

Beautiful place. I did know it was going to be small, but it was even smaller than expected. I did not love the fact that we had to take all of our trash with us when we left. But other than that it was very comfortable and relaxing! Hot tub was awesome, and star gazing was great.

We had an awesome stay at The Little Cowboy Cabin in Utopia. Tracy was responsive, hospitable, greeted us with cookies on the counter, all in all a great and fun experience. We especially loved the firepit outside and made use of it every evening. The cabin is close to town so we had breakfast one morning at The Lost Maples Cafe. Garner State Park and Lost Maples State Park are an easy drive as is Utopia Park. The water level is down in the general area right now due to a multi-year drought but we found that in spite of that, Garner State Park is a good option to get in the water. Great place to stay got some rain so we were able to see the river come up some. Got there early host was able to let us in early. Hot tub was perfect. The inside was really nice and well maintained. My wife got some decoration ideas, that’s going to cost me some money. Anyway definitely worth the trip.

Julie's cabin was so quaint , comfortable as well as historic built in the the 1850s...I look forward to my next visit with her...Thx Julie

This little cabin was a great surprise. Came here for a few days for my girlfriend’s birthday. Upon arrival, we immediately knew that pictures hadn’t done the place justice. It was a lot more manicured in person and had a awesome view of the river. We drank coffee on the porch every day and bird watched/deer watched every morning and night. The bed was comfortable and the couch was just enough space to cozy up and watch a movie on the TV. Our dog is great off leash, and with supervision he had the time of his life down by the river. Bandera was an awesome town, and again, we were pleasantly surprised by all they had to offer. We are excited to go back and spend more time in the town of Bandera. The stay overall was basically five star, but here a few things to know: The road to get to town is windy and hilly and dangerous at night so be careful. Bring your own steak knives. You’ll have to space your showers out at least an hour apart or be prepared to shower in cold water. Thanks!!

We can not wait to go back. It was so peaceful. Everything was so nice! We had three teenage girls 13, 14 and 16. They loved it as well. The game room gave them freedom. They were able to go walk the lake bed safely and explore. We felt safe letting the just go be themselves. The back deck is so peaceful. Can not stress enough about the beauty and peace. Just to chill and recharge. The McKenzie's replied fast to meassage to questions. The sheets were really wonderful my husband I sleeped until 9 am twice and we are normally up around 6 am. Just felt so good. The house is setup great for families. We had two. So all three girls could sleep together in on room and had a bath to themselves. We had the master so great and brother and his wife had another room. Rooms are were you cannt hear ev we ryrhing going on. There was one bedroom we did not use. Can not say enough goof things loved the kitchen layout and living room. So homie and again peaceful.
