The Stag Hut

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. The beautiful Stag Hut is situated within stunning Glen Urquhart with outstanding views, walks and beautiful scenery all around. The stag Hut has been created with a passion for the animal that often roams the fields that surround the shepherds hut. Beautifully decorated the hut has a double bed, fully equipped kitchen with a hob and microwave, it has its own bathroom, shower, toilet and sink. Towels and bedding all provided. Room for one Dog

Beautiful, newly updated, typical Highland cottage, situated in the village of Milton just outside Drumnadrochit on the shores of Loch Ness. Ghillies Cottage is full of all the charm you would expect to find in a highland home. Period property, dating from 1870, boasting a wild history from the Glen. Full of charm, cosy and welcoming, Ghillies cottage sleeps up to 4 people, with room for a cot should you require the host to provide one for you. Peaceful cottage and private back garden.

Secluded Ptarmigan Yurt

For the first time since we installed it we are opening for the winter months as there are a lot of people around and the weather at the moment is quite warm. To do this we have installed a small oil heater which will keep the temperature up even when the fire is not lit. Once you light the fire it will be really cosy and warm. There is also an electric blanket on the bed for those colder nights. We do reserve the right to move you to the house if the weather becomes inclement.

Complete with a covered outdoor decking area, housing an eco fuel burning hot tub (The hot tub will be up to temperature about 1.5 hours after your arrival, having you switched it on!)and BBQ.

Urquhart Bay Barn

Urquhart Bay Barn, situated at the Urquhart Bay Viewpoint, is a charming and spacious self-catering renovation, with two bedrooms (one can be either two single beds or a king size bed), completed to a very high standard, with stunning views across Loch Ness and Glen Urquhart from the dining area window and gardens. We are just a few minutes walk from the iconic Urquhart Castle. The Barn itself is built with stone taken from Urquhart Castle in the late 1800s.

Oakwood Hide is a bespoke studio, self contained cabin set within our family garden/wood, just outside Drumnadrochit, close to Loch Ness. The cabin has a very welcoming, light airy feel and is perfect for those looking to relax, enjoy the views and take some much needed time for themselves, whilst also being the perfect base for those wanting to enjoy the walks, mountain biking, fishing, bird watching and all that the Glens and the Highlands have to offer.
