beautiful apartment, great reception (very helpful), the only issue is that the walking distance to Taksim square is with very huge slope, Deniz responded swiftly during booking and after our arrival.

Great place in cool neighborhood. Lots of coffee cafes, restaurants, shops,etc. and close to Taskim Square. Tram or walking to Galata, shopping or over to Asian side. Good size apartment. Plenty of grocery available and the street is quiet and quaint. Deniz and Derya were both very responsive hosts and great to work with. Would recommend

There was a lot of rain/snow during our month-long stay, so we really appreciated this apartment's wide open floor plan, windows with their view of a super lively intersection, and well-appointed kitchen. The neighborhood has everything you need, but the location was also fantastic for exploring. It was just a few minutes walk toTaksim Square and a 20min walk (down/up a big hill!) to Galata Bridge. The T1 tram is just at the bottom of the hill as well. Ali was a great, friendly host. He was helpful with check-in instructions and was very responsive when we reported issues with cleaning and a leaking fridge. He also checked in to make sure all was well later on. All in all, we'd happily stay here again!

Really enjoyed my stay in Neriman’s apartment. The flat is perfectly situated right next to Galata Tower, with incredible views across Istanbul from the roof terrace. Neriman is a super responsive host, who met me when I arrived, showing me around the building and teaching me how to make Turkish Coffee. All in all would highly recommend the apartment for anyone looking for a great stay in and around Galata.

Best of the best place to stay in Istanbul

Firat was a great host and met us at his apartment as we left the taxi. Taxi from the airport cost about 1500 tl depending on how busy the traffic is. The apartment was just as described and spotlessly clean. Although the apartment is a few kilometers from old Istanbul, this never presented a problem as there were many bus options from the bus station (Kurtulus) 5/6 min walk away. I recommend getting a Istanbulkarte at the airport as we couldn't find a machine to buy one nearby. There is a very long shopping street which starts at the bus station and contains every shop imaginable including a Super Carrefour supermarket. Walking to Taksim Square takes about 30 mins but be prepared for steep hills. We did the walk a few times and we are both pensioners. If in Istanbul again we would have no hesitation in booking Firat's apartment again.

We liked the house. It is convenient for family living. There are many attractions nearby - we walked all day around the historical part of the area. Opposite the house there is a restaurant with good traditional cuisine. Wahid is a very nice person. Thank you for your hospitality!

Haftasonunu geçirmek için tercih etmiştin, bu ev sayesinde geçirdiğim en iyi haftasonlarından biriydi. Ev inanılmaz huzurlu, her ayrıntısı inanılmaz güzel. Son derece temizdi. Balkonda deniz manzarasına karşı oturmak inanılmaz keyifli. Burcu hanım da çok tatlıydı, baştan sona bizimle ilgilendi. Kedisi Luna da bir o kadar tatlıydı, haftasonumuza renk kattı. Her şey dahil şahane bir deneyimdi.

Emre's place made an unforgettable memory for us. We were there for about 10 days, the place matched the description and the photos, close to public transportations and He has been very helpful and responded. For example, We needed a baby chair , a baby bed and we found the pans not useful for us. he immediately provided them. Emre was really great and very lovely. Highly recommended.

It was a real pleasure to stay at your place during our visit to Istanbul. The place is very nice and very clean, and there’s all we needed during our stay. Very close to everything shops, restaurants, and tourist attractions just 5min walk to the blue mosque and hagia Sofia mosque. The place has two floors and makes it like two apartments in one and this was great for us, we stayed in one floor with the kids and gave the second floor to my mom and my niece who came with us. The host was very professional, polite and very helpful. He provided a great service he organised the taxi for us from and to the airport and even walked us through the nearby area and showed us the better shops and restaurants and the different shortcuts to get to centre. Thanks a million for everything and we really appreciate!!

Tao’s home is a charming entire house with a private entrance, nestled in a vibrant neighborhood. If you're a fan of Orhan Pamuk's novels, you'll recognize the area, and you'll be pleased to know that the Museum of Innocence actually exists and is located nearby. The house itself is full of character and unique details. The kitchen is well-equipped and had everything we needed traveling with a young child. There are three floors to navigate: the kitchen, dining area, and a shower are located on the ground floor, while the entrance, two bedrooms and a toilet are on the first floor. The second floor features the third bedroom with its own small kitchenette and bathroom. Additionally, the entrance has a few steps as well. Tao is a very sweet, friendly and thoughtful host, and we felt genuinely cared for throughout our visit. Communication was seamless, and he provided us with excellent recommendations for local restaurants that we thoroughly enjoyed.

Öncelikle evin dekorasyon ve tasarımı gerçekten muhteşemdi. Gerçekten çok sıcak bir ortamı vardı. Konuklar için her detay düşünülmüş. Sunulan ürünlerin tamamı vegan ve çevre dostu ürünler olması önemli bir detaydı. Serin sayılabilecek bir haftasonu olmasına rağmen kombi ile rahat biçimde ısındık. Gökçe & Derya konuklarını gerçekten "konuk" olarak gören son derece nazik ve yardımsever insanlar. Bize her konuda hızlı biçimde dönüş sağladılar. Sundukları olanaklar ve yardımları için teşekkürler.

Well located , clean and quiet. The perfect match to discover this area walking up and coming down. The Hamman , sauna and the pool are a big plus for rainy days.

Strategic location to TUYAP exhibition hall. 10-15mins walking distance. One downside is the exit to TUYAP bridge only open after mall open which is after 10am. But overall not an issue for us if we choose to take a taxi towards TUYAP only cost us around 120-150 Turkish Lira. Overall, strategic location. Super kind and responsive host, clean stay

We loved our stay in the apartment, felt like home, great view, friendly host, bus 100 m from apt directly to Hagia Sofia - Grand Bazzar area. Lots of shops, places to eat and life of Istanbul all around the apartment. We had a parking spot assured. Would recommend and re-book it.

Erhan has been a great host and provided easy and straightforward instructions and advice. Was very responsive to our questions and requests too. Would definitely recommend his place to anyone who wants to stay in a homely environment instead of a hotel.

het appartement is prachtig, heel gezellig, een echt thuis. goede uitvalsbasis midden in het stadsrumoer. heerlijke douche, twee ruime slaapkamers, ruime woonkamer. in het weekend is er savonds wel muziek te horen. geen dreunende techno ofzo maar wij hadden een liveconcert met turkse fluit en gezang. best mooi. dat moet je dus niet erg vinden. vanaf een uur of 1 is het stil.

The location was ideal—close to public transportation, great cafes, and some of the main attractions, but still in a quiet neighborhood that let us wind down peacefully at night. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive, and making sure we had everything we needed. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Istanbul—especially families or groups looking for comfort, space, and a great location. We’d love to stay here again on our next trip!

Melihs was very good and quick at communicating. The flat is spacious and cozy. It is cetrally located within walking distance of many good cafes and restaurants as well as the ferry to western side. Wonderful to stoll along the Sea of Marmora and to stop for a late picnic on the grass and watch the sun go down . Outdoor workout area nearby. What is not to like
