Caution: (We have a Floor Bed upstairs and a Sofa bed downstairs.) With historic pubs all around, Central Canterbury is 10 mins drive away yet you are in the countryside! Tulip Tree Cottage was originally the village school house built in the 1870's and now a comfortable and newly converted home situated in the Kent Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Within walking distance of the village supermarket, pharmacy and 3 good pubs, this is the perfect place for a family holiday or weekend getaway with friends. Please note our lovely garden is shared with the guests in the cottage next door. 5 mins to Canterbury, 60 mins from London. 10% discount for weekly bookings.

Or you could just make a lovely weekend of it and visit all of our lovely coast and countryside .... cottage much bigger than the pictures. After all.... We are known as the "Garden of England ". Guest rate for 2 people, is for 1 bedroom only . If you require 2 bedrooms for 2 guests then there will be an extra charge of £15.

The Old Wash House - built 1775

The Old Wash House is set in the heart of the village of Littlebourne. There is on street parking if you're driving and a frequent bus service which runs into Canterbury and Sandwich every 30 minutes from right outside the property if you're not! You are a 5 minute drive from Canterbury with its rich history, art and culture, great shopping and restaurants and dining. The coast is just a 20 minute drive away too. The Old Wash House is good for couples, solo adventurers and business travellers.
