Beautifully restored 1850 farmhouse in the Shelby countryside. 30 minutes to Tryon. An hour to Charlotte/Asheville. Nearby are vineyards and GWU. 7 1/2 acres of serene beauty - sit by the pond and fish or hike the cleared trails down to the flowing creek. End the night sitting by the firepit. Sleeps 4-6 people. 1600 sq ft house with 2 BR, 2 Baths, den, and a beautiful open concept living dining and kitchen. Queen air mattress for den. NOTE: 6/25 upgraded to Starlink. Wi-Fi is no longer an issue.

You'll love this small cozy cottage located in a peaceful neighborhood tucked in a wooded area. It’s fully equipped with everything you need to feel at home away from home! IMPORTANT: There will be house construction in front of this Airbnb from Mon-Fri from 9-7 pm and some weekends. We apologize for the inconvenience. We are 7 minutes from downtown Forest City. 12 minutes from TIEC, 20 minutes to Shelby, 1 hour to Asheville, and many beautiful mountains, waterfalls, and outdoor activities!

There is a nice little deck out back with a charcoal grill or enjoy a quiet evening around the fire pit out front. Five minutes to Rutherford Hospital, easy access to TIEC, the nearby blueridge mountains, historic Asheville and Hendersonville or if you are looking for something different you could easily visit Charlotte or Greenville SC.

We are located 5 minutes from TIEC, in a beautiful private setting. The villa is tucked away at Overmountain Vineyards overlooking the vineyards. The decor is contemporary and spacious, with all the conveniences of home. Speed limit is 10 MPH, we have pets and are a working farm! MAX OCCUPANCY 4. Additional $150 will be charged for additional guests. $250 non-refundable fee for 1 pet and $400 for 2 pets. Pets must be crated when not home.
